I have kept every system and game back to Atari. Most people sell their unused items. I have never done that. I always thought someday I might want to play it again. I borrowed my NES to my brother a year ago and he is loving playing the old games. I can say that the XBOX 360 was my last system. I am not interested in online gaming. I like me against the computer. I can say of the dozen or so systems and games that I have, the Sega Saturn was my favorite. It had the best RPG and role playing games.

Same here minus the nes lending and rpg's. apart from my N64 I haven't sold any of my consoles or games I've owned, barring the odd really shit game here and there, we all make mistakes. I don't miss my 64, but would not part with my collection. I also started with Atari and finished on the 360, had most consoles in between. Since 2000 have concentrated mainly on jp games. currently getting into JAMMA. Welcome to the forums...

Right on my friend. I was in a Video game store years back. There was a woman with her child bitching at the clerk. She said we sold all this stuff a year ago and now you want it back at triple the cost. I didn't say anything, I just laughed inside. I am a collector and if I traded a game it would be for mutual benefit. I have all the systems and wont part with anything without a good reason. The lady said one thing that always stuck with me. She said "you buy this stuff and then sell it, only to come back and buy it again" Great message. Keep your shit. Video game stores are a bunch of vultures. I will never do business with them. I will only deal with fellow gamers.
