So, the question is highly subjective, but I would still love to hear from you what were the top 3 Saturn games that you squeezed the most fun/hours out from? My personal record would look something like this:
1. Sega Rally 2. Fighters MegaMix 3. Sega Workdwide Soccer 97

Good topic. Never thought about it before.
Of course shooters get the most replay because they are addicting but the Saturn version of Duke and Quake I will run through from start to finish sometimes twice a year. To me they are very easy to pick up and play.
My top 5 games that have logged the most hours overall are probably
1. Duke Nukem 3D 2. Galactic Attack 3. Darius Gaiden (this one is gaining in the ranks) 4. Quake 5. Battle Garegga

I guess the top 5 games I return to the most would be (not necessarily in this order): 1) cleopatra's fortune. I really like the mystery mode, and the music puts my girlfriend to sleep 2) Panzer Dragoon Saga. I've beaten it 4 times now 3) Asuka 120% Limited. my favorite 2D fighter. 4) Galactic Attack. Layer Section in 2D! 5) Sonic R. I play it a lot!

For me:
Blue Seed - I've played through the entire story mode twice (and have been wanting to do a third run for ages), but what's kept me coming back to it over and over for a quick blast is that Battle Simulator. Nothing like being able to replay any of the game's exciting battles any time you want. I'm amazed that that feature hasn't caught on with similar games; I can't imagine it takes much work to implement it.
Dragon Force - A long game, yet the eight different kingdoms to play as and the addictive world conquest phase make it hard not to come back to it over and over.
Girls in Motion Vol. 1 - Not as addictive as the sequel, but good enough that the puzzle-a-day feature has given it steady rotation in my Saturn for months.

What's Blue Seed?
I presume it's a Japanese game. If so, how playable is it?
I like hearing about new Saturn titles.

What's Blue Seed? I presume it's a Japanese game. If so, how playable is it? I like hearing about new Saturn titles. Blue Seed is an adventure game with turn-based, card-based battles which are animated with full motion video clips instead of sprites or polygons. It's based on the Japanese television series, though not on the actual episodes; the story is a "lost episodes" thing. It was one of the first Saturn games, being part of the original lineup of 12 that were announced when the Saturn was unveiled. It's pretty playable. The dungeons and battles have no language barrier, and there's an FAQ online which, although nowhere near complete, got me through the few difficult parts of the adventure sections and effectively explains the gameplay elements. Naturally you miss out on the extensive story, which in addition to being a real bummer for Blue Seed fans like myself, sucks most of the fun out of the adventure sections since you're just going around and talking to everyone in Japanese until you open up that chapter's dungeon.
