Picked up two games from my want list at a local retro store opening today. E0 has a tear on the spine, unfortunately, but is complete and in otherwise excellent condition. Cost $100, which is $85 cheaper than the cheapest complete copy on eBay and that's in worse condition. Grid Run is in excellent condition and was $20, which $10 cheaper than the cheapest ebay copy. There were a few other big name titles, but sadly they weren't complete. Ah nice I love the big box games. They look great. Enemy Zero has really jumped inthe price the last year. I was lucky enough to pick it up complete about 12 months ago from another Sega fan I know here in Melbourne for $50. Actually picked up Riven complete in big box from him as Well for another $50.

I'm now thinking about not opening up that one perhaps I don't know why but I love finding sealed Saturn games. I can never open them. Recently I got some random ones like Congo and Ghen War for cheap. I might have 15-20 total now and I just keep them as pieces of cool history. Although I generally always consider trading them to seal collectors as they are worth a bit. That sealed PAL Hexen is certainly worth far more than 7 euro.

There is a big cache of new old Hexen stock somewhere, copies of which come up on eBay a lot. They're French I think.
The seal is just a sticker on the opening of course.

Yeah I got one of those french ones a few months back. I opened it, of course. Games are meant to be played!
I think my EAR was also new and sealed. Didn't look like a reseal job.

If you bought it from Japan there's a good chance it was a reseal- though not a misleading sense. Some Japanese sellers just seem to pride themselves on delivering it in mint 'as new' wrapped condition. It's a nice touch. Check for any slight signs of wear on the disc or manual. A sealed copy would have been worth a fortune- you've lost a big chunk of cash by opening it if it really was brand new.

I actually bought a sealed game a few months ago. After getting a great deal on it. It just sucks that I can't play it.

He was the one who commented that it didn't look like a reseal. It must have just been a really good job! The main reason I question whether or not it was a reseal is that the case, manual, disc, etc looked completely untouched. No sign of any usage at all. It probably was a reseal. If not, then it doesn't matter. I'm keeping the game to play anyway so the loss of value wouldn't matter to me now anyway

I've crossed off Virtual On from my want list after finding it in the wild for a cool $20, the same price I picked it up for brand new in 1998, and it's near mint. It usually goes for a minimum of $50 around here.
Sadly, I seem to have lost my original save game. It must have been one of the corrupted files on my memory cart. It was never a game I managed to beat but I remember having customised the settings well and having some good replays.
I didn't play it much today. It's really awkward to play. I remember having a good edited version of the controls in my original save file. Are there any Virtual On pros here? What's the best set up for the control pad (besides the obvious twin sticks controller)? Have you got any tips for mastering the game? And why on earth is a mech fighter called Virtual On?
Still, it looks great through RGB and has a killer synth soundtrack.

I've gotten Dragon B"o"ll Z Shinbutoden and Zoku Gussun Oyoyo both from ebay's Yamatoku-Classic and at really decent price (under $30 each).
It is interesting to note that Yamatoku is changing its politics now : * one "buy it now" shop. Free shipping on everything, but the lowest price is $19. If you buy many items, you can get as much as 30% discount on your whole order. I guess it can become quite interesting. * another "auction only" shop which will open this monday may 28th. If shipping is free too, may be a good place to grab some bargains.
Others JP sellers offering auction atm that look interesting : dora_ts and play-japan.

Happened to spot a listing from someone who'd already imported it - most of the reasonably priced UK sales are UK only. Ran me $140 with shipping (so about 105 GBP)

For sure, and this is nothing compared to the US version. Good catch falcon. Are you getting PAL version for collecting, or just for the lower price ?

Just for the lower price. I've had to settle for disc only on stuff like Magic Knight Rayearth but didn't want to for BR.
