Hissatsu and Rouka arrived today. Both seem pretty decent from the little try I gave of them.

Finally got a copy of Corpse Killer after all these years. I remember renting back in 1997 and not really caring much for it. But this is going to sound nuts, I've been playing it for the last day non stop. I dnno what it is with me and weird crappy Saturn titles (Congo) but this is definitely a guilty pleasure. Its no doubt the only Digital Pictures game I think I enjoy. The gameplay is sorta like Terminator arcade or maybe Rev X. Side scrolling light gun game. But the cheesy B Movie horror story I just love. Vincent Schiavelli performance alone is worth finishing the game for. This is probably the only one of these FMV games where I enjoy the core gameplay mechanic. The shooting is smooth and enough of a challenge. The Saturn version is far and away the definitive version. It has full screen gameplay and FMV along with power ups, gameplay additions and difficulty modes which completely add to the game over say the Sega Mega CD version or 3DO one. I have amazingly played through the game twice already one the first two difficulty modes and actually want to get high scores in it. Anyway thats probably the most anyone has ever said about this game lol...

No source either lol Ive continued to play the game more today. Its definitely bizarre how much Im enjoying this game. They've remastered Night Trap and Double Switch and released them physically. I wish/hope they would do this one next honestly. It would be fun to see the cleaned up footage. I honestly recommend this to zombie and B-horror fans just for quick fun. Im not sure if it got a PAL release but to me the Saturn version or "Graveyard Edition" to me is far better than the Sega CD or 3D0 versions.

looks like my last comment on this didn't post - I have been thinking about getting this game for some time, and you've kinda pushed me over the edge. Hope I can still find it cheap somewhere though...
As for me I was having a bad week, so recently picked up some low-level games to cheer myself up - Heir of Zendor (aka Gotha II), Croc (which I used to own but traded in like 1999), and Mansion of Hidden Souls.
I never super get into those D-like games, but they manage to get me interested at least.

After a pretty long wait I got 3 packages delivered on the same day - so about half of games I ordered are finally on my shelf. Too bad the Action Replay is still in transit so I can't actually play them yet - guess I'll settle for listening to some music. One game got me worried though. In general anything that comes from Japan is in very good condition - some CD's are almost mint - but the X-Men vs Street Fighter copy I got (described as "VG+!" condition) has a pretty substantial scratch on the top layer of the CD (the light shines through it very nicely). For what it's worth the disc works without any problems - the scratch is not near the centre of CD, so I guess that if anything it could make some audio tracks skip or something, but after checking every one of them I didn't notice any such issues. Still, kinda bummed that the most expensive purchase so far ended up being in the worst condition. In the meantime I decided to take part in another set of auctions and got Daytona USA CE, Dead or Alive, Vampire Hunter, Gungriffon and Fighters Megamix for about 25$ plus shipping. I feel a bit silly for spending almost 250$ on Saturn stuff in one month but I guess that's what happens when you start from scratch after 5 years, you get thirsty (-_- I swear to myself that next month I'm getting nothing else but Panzer Dragoon and Layer Section (turns out the guy I "bought" it from already sold his copy so I'm gonna wait for a good offer again).

I never super get into those D-like games, but they manage to get me interested at least. Corpse Killer CIB will run you $30... I assume you are US based? If not probably more with shipping. There was a time when it was going around $50 but I swear some new old stock started finding its way to the market and you can get new ones for around $40. The one I got off Ebay cost $24 and it came mint, almost as if it was opened then shipped immediately after. As for your other titles, Croc is one of my favorites. Love playing that game around Christmas time. I asked for that in 1997 and I only ended up getting Quake (which was perfectly fine). I eventually got it years ago as almost a joke from my family. They bought me a sealed copy which I opened almost as if I was getting 15 years late for Xmas lol. But very fun Heir of Zendor I feel generally is considered the most boring game on the Saturn by the casual gamers but it depends entirely on how much you like micro management strategy sims. Mansion of Hidden Souls is one Ive always wanted to play. I enjoy the D type games. So I just beat my high score on Corpse Killer, this game is so ridiculous its getting Avatar status for a bit lol

Yeah, I'm in the US - I guess I just hadn't checked in a while!! I was thinking of those $50 days, and you're right, I'm seeing much better deals now. I'll grab one!
Heir of Zendor... honestly tactics and strategy games where they have to load the battles are just like... I don't have that kind of time anymore! If you've played Tilk, that's a particularly bad offender. I think that game would've been quite popular, because the art is great, the story is fun, etc - if not for that loading. Every single attack requires a 2 second load, which is just insane! I prefer playing these games on handhelds anyway, so I can pick It up and put it down.
I also did pick up something crazy yesterday - I traded in a fair amount of stuff because a (relatively) nearby shop had Batman Forever. So I wound up with that and Demolition Man for Sega CD by trading in $200 worth of stuff. It's stuff I had to get rid of anyway, but I still feel a bit silly about it.

Your comment " --> does it exist ?, never saw one. ? range." probably means you didn't find them yet for sale. As they exist and could be seen on www.satakore.comWe may also want to get both revisions of the VF2 satakore edition GS-9079P-00579B and GS-9079P-00579C. Rev C is rarer.

I'm 90% certain I've seen the convini satakore out there... Oh, do you mean in the Marketplace ? I've not found it yet, would appreciate if you could point me to it. Madroms, of course my comment means I did not find them yet, looking daily though. But thanks to you, I know they do exist, and you have them somewhere in our beautiful country. Actually I do have the Rev C version of VF2 Satakore, sold by friend Zyrobs from this same forum. Though I'm not collecting CD revisions (for now...), only spine cards revisions. So the Evangelion series will also give me nightmares since I only seem to be able to find xxx-xxxx-01 spine cards...

Got Panzer Dragoon for 10$ and just when I thought that's it for this month, Salamander Deluxe Pack appeared for 44$ (free shipping!) which is quite a bargain so I grabbed it without much hesitation.
Still waiting for the Action Replay cart, but apparently its journey around the world is at the last stage.
