Hi all, I'm hoping to get some advice on any potential points of failure that might have appeared when I installed a switchless region mod into my VA9 PAL Saturn. To give a brief rundown of what happened: - I tested the console beforehand and it worked - I installed the mod according to this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQ99iMX9uJs- I turn on the system, and I get a black screen. The TV detects it as a signal, but no output - I checked with a multimeter for any bridges, I don't see any - I checked to ensure that the correct traces were cut and that I hadn't accidentally cut any others, this looks okay too - I checked that I removed the correct jumpers (JP2, JP6, JP10, JP12), looks correct - The mod PCB itself comes to life, and successfully changes regions when I hold the reset button - I tried re-inserting the CR2032 battery, no luck - I tried plugging the CD drive back in, no life here either I've tried running through the circuit with someone else, and something that's been noticed is that when using a multimeter, I'm getting a resistance reading between 5v and ground (About 0.425 when multimeter is in 2kOhm mode), and this happens in various places all over the board. This is when the PSU is not plugged into the main board Does anyone have any advice for things to check? This is my first time modding a saturn but not my first time modding consoles, so I can't help but think I'm missing something very simple

Will need some pictures of your work.
Also this might not be helpful but have you tried removing the mod, to see if it works without it? With how much effort this mod takes, it's easier to just install a region free bios, especially on that motherboard, since the boot rom isn't glued down.

Thanks for getting back to me. I did try removing the mod (unsoldered all of the wires and reconnected the cut traces), but no luck. I'll get some images and then attach them to my next post

As mentioned, I've attached the images of the mod. Only thing to note is that JP2 got ripped last night after the console had broken, but I have re-bridged the points in such a way that it acts as though no jumper is attached. Also, while some of my cables are a little messy (That comes from constantly attaching and removing them during testing), none of them are bridging
