Such an amazing game eh?
Also a fantastic version on the saturn! Pal optimized, no slowdowns and a solid high FPS.
I love the game itself though. Been playing it the last 3 hours! Was amazing =D
I love building huge bases with full defense and so forth XD
Anyone else enjoy it?

its one of the best games ever in my opinion and the saturn version is perfect for a console, the only rts i have ever been engaged with and it kept me captivated for hours upon hours planning strikes then holding back choosing to take out those turrets or small enemy groups with a humvee or a small crack team then go full pelt for the enemy base, classic stuff and all to a kick arse soundtrack, a brilliant game.

Great game, been playing it for a week so far (I'll write a review as soon as I complete the game), it's as addicting as difficult, yesterday I was playing a single mission for about two hours and I failed at the very end and I wasn't even pissed off, I was only thinking about the next try. Now I'm at 9th NOD mission. I agree with RallyDon, music is just awesome. But I don't know why it doesn't use a save, especially when you can enter a highscore after completing a mission, also, dunno if it happens to you guys, sometimes the game keeps freezing, the animation slows down and starts clipping (music's fine all the time) but it disappears after a while. Anyway, I'm happy that I found a console RTS I really like. I'm thinking about getting Warcraft II someday if the Saturn conversion is as good as C&C.

Yeah I'm not much of a fan of RTS either but I love! this game!
Awesome sound track indeed =) "I'M A MECHANICAL MAN!" haha
but yeah its very addicting! and quite challenging. When I beaten it I started using cheats for fun to build huge big bases with all the best defence etc etc. Good times.
Sonic - seems like your disk must be a bit damaged, mine works perfect.
shame theres no save feature though, passwords are alright though I guess but still...

You may be right, both of my C&C discs have pinholes so maybe that's the reason...

I doubt the pin-holes will be the cause of the problem on both discs unless they are in exactly the same place on both discs Which is not very likely. I've noticed that on one of my Saturns I get slow-down issues in Panzer Dragoon SAGA that don't happen on my other Saturn, perhaps some kind of bizarre hardware issue is causing it?

I don't know if it happens on my 2nd disc, both by the way are scratches free, only have pinholes. Is it a coincidence that I bought NFS from the same guy and it also has pinholes and those are only games in my collection with that problem? I guess he didn't treat his games properly... By pinholes I mean dot-like scratches on the label side, I'm not sure if they're called pinholes.

Pin holes can be caused by exposure to sun light and heat, perhaps he had his games somewhere that was too warm/in the sun. Another common mistake that owners make is putting their discs label side down onto surfaces to avoid scratching them, unwittingly scratching the data layer instead. Quite a few games I buy have them, a lot of games have them very small that you can't even see without a magnifying glass I have in the past bought sealed products that have had them (Grandia Digital Museum) upon opening!

I spent nearly 3 hours today with C&C, I wonder how long will the last mission take... 5?

Finally beaten NOD campain, last mission was really tough but (after few hours of failing the mission) I've completed it today in less than 2 hours and I didn't even have to nuke anything (I blew up only the last remaining building for fun), few mammoth tanks were enough to destroy gdi forces with no problem

A fantastic game, and the Saturn version is great.
Love the soundtrack, and along with the original Red Alert it probably has the best soundtrack of the series.
Warcraft II is a great Saturn conversion too for those that are interested in Saturn RTS's.
