Hello, newbie here. I just got done setting up my Saturn on my Vizio HDTV and noticed immediately that the picture for the start-up sequence is stretched out to fill most of the 16x9 frame on the TV, which makes it look like garbage. As I intend to play my games on the original 4x3 ratio (windowboxed), I was wondering if anyone knew if there's something special to do in order to prevent the picture from stretching? I am using the RF switch thing that connects the console to the TV via a coaxial cable.

Does that fix it or is that just a way of mocking my setup?

Dunno if it'll fix your problem, but a SCART lead will make the picture sharper and clearer by a factor of 10.
There will be a way of adjusting your picture size in your tv's menu. I can choose 4 or 5 different screen sizes in my Sony Bravia's menu.

On my missus' 42" LG you can only do brightness & contrast on the RF input, same with the older Bravia in the bedroom, whereas you get full picture ajustment for scart and hdmi inputs.

All new hd tv's should have an aspect ratio adjustment feature. There should be a button on the remote or an option in the setup menu that takes care of it, simples!

I can't imagine any new TV without such a button. Even my old 19'' Panasonic 4:3 SD set has a button that will cycle between 4:3/16:9 (letter boxed)/auto mode. The auto mode works very well at detecting the image too.
