Hi I have a backup memory cartridge. But it seems to corrupt the data a lot and it has to be cleared before every time I turn on a game with it plugged in. Is this a problem with the saturn or is it a problem with the cartridge and is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Clean the connectors on your cartridge with alcohol, also do the same with the cart slot on your saturn (best done by pressing a cloth on a piece of card into the slot.
Push the cart back into your Saturn carefully right to the bottom, then pull it back up ever so slightly (usually 1-2mm) then leave it in place and never ever take it out again.
If you still experience problems you could have a duff memory cart, but this is very rare, 90% of the time it's the Saturn's cart slot being awkward.
