Ive started contemplating getting a mod chip and would need advice on which one is the easiest to install. I have minor soldering experience from school but I am not very confident So one with as less soldering as possible would be great. I am also wondering what website is the best to buy from aswell, Ive only ever ordered stuff online on Amazon before. Anything with Paypal would be great. Thanks in advance

Firstly which model of Saturn do you have? Model 1 (oval button) or model 2 (round button)?
And is it a UK saturn?

Open your Saturn and check weather the controller ports are on the main motherboard or on a separate board at the front, the latter could be a problem.
Although racketboy's modchip is kind of easier to install, it's also kind of delicate, I've broken one installing and had one fail in situ.
Rob Webb's mod chip is pretty robust, straight forward to install

I used to install those for people to make a little cash back in my university days. The trick is to just take a small metal file and file away the excess pcb on each side of the edge connector. It made them much easier to insert in the mobo. Never had one fail by using this method either. Granted this was about 5 years ago. I've not touched any of his more recent batches. (Though they look identical.)

Thanks for the help, I think I will go with Raketboy's chip, it has a easier guide and looks like it fits better in the Saturn.
