So i just bought an official virtua stick and it is in great condition, but the joystick makes a bit noise... im wondering if i put a bit of lubrificant or oil on it, but i'm afraid of it stops working.
Has anyone done that before? Are there any risks?

What kinda noise? If it's just a click, then it's fine.
Otherwise, yea you might wanna get that checked out.

No, it's not a click... it's like a door making noise when you open (like in the terror movies)... i'm not a english man, i dunno the word to describe it... it "ranges" (don't know if it's the right word).

Ah you're stick is "creaking", you need to go to a model shop that sells radio controlled cars or planes and buy some 'switch lubricant' which is a special type of non-conductive grease for lubricating electrical parts.

Yes it's that noise. Is that lubricant to expensive? or something cheap? One more thing, what does the speed buton does? it increases the speed of when you touch the buttons?

The lubricant is very cheap, comes in a tube like toothpaste.
The speed button means that when you push a button down the game thinks you are pressing it again and again rapidly.

I got a Virtua Stick delivered the other day, but the stick is stiffer than... (I can't think of a similie that isn't rude). It's unplayable anyway.
Hopefully a bit of lubricating will do the job for me too and I won't have to start stretching the springs and all that.
