I think the second you pick that up the disc is going to skip like hell and it will crash.

Would be nice if a powerful enough PDA could run SSF, the sony clie I had at my job about 10 years ago even had a gamepad that attaced to it but there was little to nothing worth playing on it.

agree with you on that. the pandora will be the next handheld that will have good sturn emulation on it. now that will be worth getting to play both saturn and dreamcast on the go.

It's still early days for the Pandora. The Dreamcast emulator is only a proof of concept and can't run anything at a playable speed yet. The general view is that a playable Saturn emulator isn't likely either. See here for more information www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?/topic/52494-sega-saturn/

I have to say that Pandora doesn't impress me at all, all I see when I look at it is a butt-raped netbook for playing games. Speaking of netbooks, netbooks are very much a 'watch this space' area. Sure just now they can emulate Saturn at about 60%-70% speed for some titles - but I'd be willing to bet that in 5 years time we will have netbooks that can fly through SSF at playable speeds.
now we just need someone to hack a game-pad into one and pass it off as a new console!

Ouch. Love the idea and it would be cool to be able to make something like that myself, but damn that's ugly!

I think the second you pick that up the disc is going to skip like hell and it will crash. Truth. Wouldn't pay much for that thing, and it looks like console cancer. *shivers*
