Hi guys,
I recently rediscovered my Sega Saturn along with some of my games and I'm looking into a few things. Today I picked up another one for £3!
Anyway, for my first question. On the battery compartment cover of my Model 2, 21 pin, controller-ports-have-their-own-PCB Saturn it has a little arrow pointing to USA. However, on the Saturn I picked up today (a Model 2, 21 pin, controller-ports-attached-to-motherboard Saturn) the little plastic arrow points to Multi. What does this mean?
Now this question may be against the rules here (I read the forum rules but couldn't see anything related to this...) I'm thinking about installing a mod chip but what I need to know is whether I'm also going to need a 50/60Hz switch. I'll also be buying a PAR if that matters. So, do I need the switch if I'm going to be running import games on my Saturn through RGB?
Thanks in advance! Paul

You need to mod it with a 60hz switch. Think Dreamcast was the first console to include the option of playing PAL games in 60 hz.

Ah, okay. It doesn't look too bad to install luckily. Thanks for the response!
