First of all I LOVE platformers. I have most of the US platformer games available on saturn and now I am looking for more japanese exclusive platformers. Are there any I am missing from my list? Please let me know if I overlooked any! I swear there being a 3D game where you play as a robot and it makes the most annoying sound when you jump, but I can't find the name of it again! (edit: the name of game is Steamgear Mash) Also I have not been able to find the last 2 games listed for sale, are those super rare? or maybe I am searching with wrong title? Thanks for any input or suggestions! Mizubaku Adventure (Liquid Kids) Steamgear Mash Super Tempo Tryrush Deppy Willy Wombat Keio Flying Squadron 2 Lode Runner Magical Hoppers Whizz Bubble Symphony Rockman x3 Castlevania Dracula X Silhouette Mirage Ninpen Manmaru Ninja Jajamaru Kun Doraemon - Nobita to Fukkatsu no Hoshi

pinksheets... I don't want to misinterpret your thread here and say 'Rayman' and 'Astal'... but I will anyway Also, I'm not sure about 'in the US', but Keio (Flying Squadron) 2 was released here in the UK as a PAL release, thus, not JP exclusive. Perhaps that's whats thrown out my understanding of your request a little

I recall the robot in steamgear mash making annoying sounds while jumping.

NeoGeoNinjaI didn't know keio got a pal release. thanks for clearing that up for me, I'm mainly looking for overlooked japanese exclusives or perhaps any euro platforming exclusives? bradcap1YES! That's the game I was looking for, thank you very much! Besides the jumping sound, is the game any good? If I enjoyed willy wombat I think I will probably enjoy this game lol

I'm not really into platformers, let alone isometric ones. But, this game is really well presented. the packaging is just about the nicest I've seen. I had a bit of a challenge regarding the language barrier and had to consult a faqs to get started. I'd describe it as a as a platforming battletech for the Genesis. There is a lot to like about this game but I don't think platforming works well from an isometric perspective.

Saw some videos for Ninpen Manmaru. OMG such a beautiful 3D platformer , looked better than a N64 platformer. What a Saturn Sonic game could have been..... Strangely I could not locate a copy on ebay, that and Super Tempo.

I've been looking every day on ebay and play-asia and I can't even find a ridiculously overpriced copy for sale, that reminds me I was missing super tempo on my list. thank you!

^ yeah, I know. I like the character models(the girl) in Magical Hoppers so much better, and thank god in options they give you an option to adjust the volume of the music, it's way louder than the sound effects. Is Pandemonium like that too?
Still waiting for Ninpen Manmaru to arrive, hopefully any day now. :-)

Ok, it came in the mail today...It's a lot like croc, controls are equally as awkward, but I think it just takes some getting used to. I liked Croc enough to beat it so I'm sure I will enjoy this game. This game has a lot of hopping around on little platforms and falling off and starting over. The penguin is also carrying around a sword on his back but for the life of me I can't figure out how to use it. maybe at some point i'll write a more in depth review.
