Was released in Japan in 1994 No, the first editions were all grey HST-3200s. The one that guy has is a custom job. It was up on ebay a while ago. Note that the paint on the top has the logos and text in different ways. The one Sega used in their Japanese ads is just a single custom top. The bottom is of a normal grey Saturn. The one in that EGM screenshot is again different, different text on top, and both top and bottom is matching. As far as I know that "silver" Saturn never made it into commercial production.

Yep, it's a great job but home made, Google "champagne saturn" and that replica pops up in the results.
The one in the magazine features is the Champagne prototype, it never saw release like that.

Well, I came up with this: That's definitely closer to the one in the latter two images I originally posted. Kinda surprised. I never knew those limited edition champagne Saturn USB pads were actually based on a real model Saturn.
