Hi, I'm looking at doing this digital audio mod, and I've seen this page so correct me if I'm wrong, but do you just connect the corresponding wires from the SS D/A converter chip(depending on which model) to this chip Cirrus CS8406? But now how do you connect the S/PDIF female connector? Thanks.

I found this here which is for a va13 SS, so it's cleared up a few things but I don't know if this applies to a va0 saturn since I haven't opened up my saturn to check?

Wow, this is an old thread!
I recently got an AV Receiver that takes TOSLink audio input, so I was hoping to get this hooked up.
Did you get anywhere with this in the end? Would love to hear about it.

I started on it a couple years ago, but stalled due to not having the right components. Fast forward to the present I do finally have the right components as of recent months, but have procrastinated:/. Since you've reminded me I'll give it shot this weekend...Hopefully.
