Hi from me, as my user name suggests I have problems coming up with a decent user name. I missed out on a Saturn when it was released as by the time I got my first console (the Playstation) it had already gone out of production, but I've just made up for that as I finally got my hands on a Saturn yesterday. ;D Up until yesterday I'd never even seen a Saturn in the flesh but out of the main 5th generation consoles it was the one that interested my the most for that very reason, after doing a bit more research into the games which were available for it I decided to get one ASAP. I've got a very modest collection at the moment but I hope to expand it when my limited budget allows me too. I'm a dedicated gamer mostly on the PC but all my 'retro' gaming is done on consoles, unfortunately my retro collection is rather small and consists of my nice new Saturn and a SNES.

Hey Nick, welcome aboard! The Saturn is both a love affair and an illness, prepare yourself for a most pleasurable type of pain Seriously though, loads of great titles can be found dirt cheap to get you going. Also get Super Aleste for your SNES, possibly the best and most underrated game on the console, if you like shootemups ;D

Thanks for the welcome guys. Unfortunately Mick until I get some money (hurry up Uni bursary ) I can't afford any more games, still I've got Sonic 3d, Jam & R on their way so they should keep me busy for a while ;D

Saturn and SNES are all you need =D !
NES and Mega Drive are something else worth tracking down though.
If you are into retro gaming, don't discount your PC though: there's all kinds of ancient classics like Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, and Blake Stone.

Whilst I would love to play some older classics on my PC the fact that I use Vista 64 means that a lot of older titles are a no go for me, the older games I've managed to get running at the moment are Half life plus it's expansions and Deus Ex. I've been considering a Mega Drive for a while but I think my next console might be a 3DO, PC engine or similar I wish I could afford a Neo Geo but that's unlikely.
