Hi folks, My Sega obsession has caught up with me in the last few weeks and I just tried to install SSF 0.12 R4 on my Toshiba Sat Click Mini. Which has no CD/DVD drive. I read that SSF has no ISO-support, therefore a CD drive is needed. Could this be the reason for this weird error message? Didn't find any message like that by google images Thanks for any help Pix P.s. I might try to install a virtual drive. I'm running Windows 10 x32 btw.

Yeah, get a Virtual Drive and mount your ISO. Should be golden then.

Free version of Daemon Tools Lite should be all you need.

Side Note: Don't use 0.12 beta R4. It's buggy. Go one version back to 0.12 beta R3.

Thanks for solving the problem!
hi redtail,
what do you mean about being buggy?
What I experienced so far is, that SSF 0.12 R4 crashes after a few minutes of playing on Windows 10. With EVERY game.
Did you experience this also? I'll try with R3 then.
Is anybody in contact with the emulator developers? Will there be any updates?
It's sad how the state of Saturn emulation is currently. Yabause is barely usable.
If I was better at coding, I'd develop for yabause, I did some emulation development for simpler platforms. But I only own a PAL saturn and have not much hardware where I could for more information about the platform, i.e. testing / finding out about peculiar bugs etc.

I mentioned in another thread recently I'm still using SSF 010 beta R1, its very stable and I've not encountered anything that wont run properly on it.

Cool, thank you for that information. Is anybody in contact with the developers? Opening the source would be interesting. Maybe he can be persuaded. I'd be willing to invest some time into development. And especially making it portable to Linux / OSX / Android.

If you don't mind, what's your PC/graphics procesor/OS? 32 or 64 bit? I'm wondering because I tried this version based on your recommendation here, and I had all kinds of sound issues with it...and I use an i7 core.

Is anybody in contact with the developers? You can message him yourself, @fessx on twitter. He knows English.

My laptop: i7, 32GB RAM, SSD, GT750, Windows 8.1 64bit. The same build also works fine on my 8 core Xeon workstation, 32GB RAM, GTX970, Windows 10 64bit.

Strange; our specs are similar, and I've not encountered this sound glitch using any other versions of SSF. Do you have yours set to lowest or highest compatibility....or do you use custom settings?
