Quite taken aback to find such a busy Saturn fan community, had no idea.
At the age of 32, recently moved into a house with enough space to accommodate all my teenage "junk" from my Dad's loft. That included a Saturn, PS1 and Mega Drive. Have decided to just keep one and build up the collection, which is of COURSE the Saturn and a fair set of games.
I accidentally got a Saturn back in '96. When shopping for my birthday present, the salesman in Dixons (English electricals chain, now bankrupt I think) persuaded my Dad and I to get the Saturn over the PS1 and N64. Looking back he was probably on commission to clear the things out... but what luck.
I was the only kid in my year to have the Saturn, and was seen as an oddball for it. But I loved it. The wonderful arcade conversions, the slight quirkiness of it all, Duke Nukem, Sonic R.. brilliant. I bought all the mags and held on until the bitter end in '98/'99, and remember feeling devastated when the local Electronics Boutique (remember that!) consigned the whole Saturn rack to the bargain bin- all the good titles had presumably been sent back as it was full of Fifas and Mario Andretti and the like.
My last game in '98. was Burning Rangers, which I recently learned is now a valuable cult classic. Couldn't also afford the £40 for Panzer Dragoon Saga back then; have just dropped £175 on it, am so keen to have a play. You live and learn.
That's enough rambling, thanks to whoever runs this website and I look forward to reading through.

Greetings. Dixons is still going. More than likely they relocated into some shopping centre and opened back up as Curry's. Or they moved out of town into a new superstore next to Homebase, Halfords ect... again as Curry's. Curry's, Dixons and Carphone Warehouse are all the same company. In recent times they have been shutting Carphone Warehouse stores down and putting them inside Curry's Superstores. Carphone Warehouse must be doing ok as they have that annoying twat Leigh Francis from Through the Keyhole doing the adverts. enough rambling...
