New version of the best Sega Saturn Emulator is out here`s whats been updated in this version. Please forgive me on the bad translation *looks at babelfish* The drawing weight processing of VDP1 was corrected. The EG processing of SCSP was corrected. The FM wiring processing of SCSP was corrected. It tried to interpolate linear at the time of the PCM resampling of SCSP. Because it is a little heavy processing, option is provided. Linear interpolation is the processing which has done even with the apparatus. That and, resampling processing from the single precision floating point was modified in the double precision floating point. Becoming heavier than before somewhat even with the same processing, it increases. At the time of Enforce Aspect Ratio option use it tried to consider the picture aspect ratio of PC side. Version of the state saving data changed. With the latest modification tune of the built-in sound source compared to becomes close in the apparatus the expectation… which After but if the fact that sound of FM wiring becomes noise mixture could be corrected. No the guy that`s doing it lives in japan but the emu is comign along nice. only thing i got aganist it is that it dont play virtua Fighter 2 and a few others very well otherwise it plays about 85% of the games perfect. As long as you have a dual core cpu and a good gfx card you should be able to run it no problems

I think it's funny you need a really highend and expensive pc to play games from a machine you can buy cheap used...

It`s all down to the dual cpu`s it was using those chips really can`t be emulated with only a single cpu

Its a Direct3D problem so it's graphics card releated, get the latest drivers for your card, can you run this emu in OpenGL?

What gfx card have you got by the way ?
maybe it`s time to upgrade that card.
As for the Emu you still can`t run a few of the games but most of them do run good if left in a window. When I ran the emu in full screen the games slowed down badly.
Maybe we should post up what spec pc`s we got to get a good range of what the emu can run on as well ... I`ll go first...
AMD AM2 3800 Dual Core Venice 1GB 666Mhz DDR2 RAM 256MB Gigabyte 7600GT PCI-E Soundblaster PCI 128 Soundcard

I'm using it to capture screenshots and it's worked with every game I've tried so far except Blast Wind. It would begin to run and then slowdown to the point of it almost stopping. I was able to grab some shots, but it took me about 30 minutes to grab 5 screenshots. ;D

I can't seem to get any Saturn emulators to run on my HP computer. I've tried everything I know to do and my Saturn games won't even boot up.

You need a pretty high specification PC for Saturn emulation.

The only emulated saturn game I ever played was radiant silvergun..Had to check it out before I bought it.......I did buy it, but not because of my experience on the pc I had at the time.......it was unplayable. but it was obviously looking amazing in spite of the pcs' poor emulation......verdict, emulators suck big time and I am so glad saturn games cannot be emulated with any degree of success.......main reason being I have not spent £2000+ on saturn games only to have them devalued overnight.......I hate freeloaders........bigtime.
