Okay, so I just bought this from my local retro game shop.
Only ever seen the Action Replay cartridges online, but this looks very similar, so I bought it (was £20).
Anyway, the guy in the shop tested it for me to conform that it does play imports. So I bought it alongside a Japanese copy of Outlaws of the Lost Dynasty.
What I want to ask/check with you guys is...
...does this cartridge have the same features as the Action Replay cartridge that everyone talks about, or is this thing not as good?
Thanks, sploit
P.S. Hello again - it has been a while since I last posted.

Test it and find out! You've already bought it If it can save game data, play imports and provide the 4 and 6 MB RAM boost then it's the same as an AR. Even if it's not £20 aint a bad price for 2 in 1 if that's all it is.

I guess I will have to buy some games that require the RAM and see what happens. Thanks

unless I'm not mistaken this is extra capacity backup save memory cart only. I have couple of similar ones from Japan.

According to packaging at segaretro it does include a converter to play different region games, but it makes no mention of RAM expansion. Makes me think it's just a double capacity memory card that can play non-ram imports.
