I've noticed something odd when playing Bug! with the 3D controller. There's a glitch during the opening where even though the Start button is functional for the rest of the game, and it can be used to skip the logos for Sega Away Team and Realtime Associates, once the opening story cutscene starts it's impossible to skip it with the 3D controller. Other than that it works perfectly and is functional with every other game without any issues, so I'm pretty sure it's a software glitch as opposed to a hardware glitch. This is in the Japanese version of the game on a Japanese Model 1 Saturn if that makes a difference.
I was curious as to if any other Saturn games had compatibility issues with the 3D controller similar to this, or if Bug is just a very unusual exception. Anyone else know of games with controller glitches?
EDIT: In retrospect this would probably fit better in the Light Gun Alley than the Hard Wired forum since it's more about the software's compatibility than the hardware itself. If a mod sees this and agrees, can you please move the thread?

The 3D Nights pad was released long after this game came out meaning officially the game BUG! does not recognise it. Problems with some games are to be expected. Older games can see the 3D pad as a Steering Wheel which can also cause problems, the triggers may not work.
It's more luck of the draw if it works with older games made before Nights into Dreams.
