The hdmi Saturn cable arrived and I've tested a few games. It's lag is similar to the Mini (sold my Mini) so for the price it's acceptable for many.
Tilt and Necronomicon took adjusting of my flipper timing and weren't as fun compared to the XRGB3 & OSSC.
Parodius, the lag wasn't as noticeable to me. I played pretty normal.
Impressions so far...it's okay.
More to come.
Played Ghouls and Ghosts & Ghosts and Goblins not my best scores.
The video and sound are excellent but the lag is there. I would not recommend buying one as there are better options.

I've just picked up another Sega Saturn (Model 1) for £20 while walking through a local market on my dinner break - this will be my ... fourth machine (sold my original back in the day and 2 have broke)
anyone tried those Action Replay carts?

I got in the mail a HST-3220 white Japanese Saturn. I tested it with Tokimeki Memorial: Taisen Pazurudama (neat puzzle game) and now I am thinking of getting my Saturn(s) hooked up again.

Picked up a dusty model 2 PAL Saturn today, to sit alongside my 2 JP machines. It came with original SCART lead, unofficial power supply and one controller. Unboxed.
As my PAL collection continues to grow, I won't have to swap out carts and cables any more.
60 bucks though... things are ramping up, eh? Still, she cleaned-up nice and shiny.

Picked up one of these for a decent price online. Have a line on a second gamepad, just need to get the deal done. Spent about 20 minutes with it and so far I like it, the IR isn't a problem given where my Saturn is hooked up and where I sit. That certainly clashes, however. Might have to do something about that.

Wanted a boxed Model 1. Was kinda hoping for the bigger original box, guess I'll have to get one of those another time.
Cleaned up okay. Tore it down to scrub the dust and grime out of the cracks.

I have one as well sych! I really like mine, have only used it on Saturn so far haha! Aren't they great. Packaging was top notch too. I'm loving mine so far. Have you got the exact same design as mine or did you go for a different colour? Funny thing is I only bought one for my PS3 as I was sick of playing fighting games with a PS3 controller but I'm loving the fact it works with the Saturn even more than I thought I would. I've always used Saturn extension cables if I needed range from the TV so wireless controllers were never really on my radar but now that I have one I might buy a few more. I'll be interested to know how many Retro-Bit controllers will work on a single Saturn. For e.g could one use 10 retro-bit controllers on Saturn Bomberman?

They are great, and I really like the packaging as well. Like the solid case alot. I got the slate grey one instead of the blue. I bought it for my Saturn because the extenders were getting to be a hassle and my current setup required me to sit a bit further back from the TV. And that would be interesting to know how many can be handled at once.

Just managed to snag a Pseudo-Kai cartridge as Action Replays were looking scarce in UK.
It does offer backup boots, but mainly im using it for the memory card aspect of it as well as the multi region as I have some fave games in PAL region (I have a MK2 JPN Satrn)
Just had a blast on Panzer Dragoon, PAL version. Wanted to play this before I played my JPN Panzer Dragoon 2
Not a massive haul, but I love the useful little cartridge! Now to find a JPN VCD Cartridge lol

I am considering this to be a Saturn hardware item, because I specifically got it to see if it can help me with my issue with text on Japanese games being too small/blurry when using CRT.

Hmm, well I hope you didn't pay over the odds for it. What kind of CRT? Standard consumer set, no chance, I don't even think it can output 15khz. Might help on a VGA monitor or similar I guess, particularity if you're only using a composite to VGA converter at the moment.

Well the Framemeister is for an HD TV not a CRT. I was using Euro Scart to component on CRT before which looks fine but not good for Japanese text.
