I've found that my Saturn gaming experience really varies night to night based on the games I play. My feelings range from "How could anyone not think this system rules" to "No wonder this system tanked." The good nights are the ones I play Darius Gaiden, VF2, Last Bronx, etc... The bad nights are ones where I put in games like Sky Target and Battlestations (my recently acquired second copy. apparently I didn't learn the first time). So how about a thread for games that belong only in the trash bin and should not tarnish our Saturns. Maybe this would save others the pain. Please limit this to only truly terrible games. Not so-so ones. In other words the message to others, "Do not buy under any circumstances!"

Independence Day and Street Fighter the Movie are two definite ones. If I remember correctly, Courier Crisis is rubbish. The Segata Sanshiro game also sucks horribly. A lot of people will say Virtual Hydlide. What a greatly misunderstood piece of crap.

Thanks for the Independence Day tip. I was thinking about going against my common sense and getting that one. I hated the movie.

On a technical level Virtual Hydlide is pretty nice, just a shame the gameplay is complete arse gravy.

In my opinion, the one game I'd nominate for a trash bin (were it not for the fact it contributes to my collection) also has the most suitable name for such a poor title: DOOM!

Fifa 98- absolutely worst conversion ever. Even PS2's Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life is better, at least it was playable (in slow-motion, yes, but still... at least you knew what's going on). Shamefully, I actually sold it to some poor fellow online...

I actually go back to FIFA '98 more than any of its Saturn predecessors, but I'd still rather boot up Worldwide Soccer '97 (the follow-up is ruined by its notorious commentary glitches to me) or World League Soccer '98. However, shocking as this may seem, I prefer Euro '96, International Victory Goal and even Striker '96 over the FIFA series!

Battle Arena Tohshinden Remix. Plays exactly like the PS1 version which is to say terrible. Unfortunately the graphics suffer in comparison to its PS1 counterpart. Wonder if Sony greased someone's palm to make sure it looked this bad.

Out of all my games, there are three games I'd happily put in the trash bin:
Sega Touring Car Mortal Kombat Trilogy Jurassic Park

Out of all my games, there are four games I'd happily put in the trash bin: Crime Wave Sega Touring Car Mortal Kombat Trilogy Jurassic Park You´d put Jurassic Park on the trash bin?? (I guess we´re talking about The Lost World one) I don´t think it deserves that, its a very funny, yet sometimes buggy action plataformer, pretty good graphics for a multiplataform tittle and tons of levels......

Yes its the Lost World one. Although I wasn't aware there were any other Jurassic Park games on the Saturn. Anyway, terrible game. Glitchy graphics and unresponsive controls. I'll happily sit and gloat while I set fire to it.

Dragonheart Fire & Steel, Hardcore 4x4, Andretti Racing. Three games that I'm glad I have as I want to complete my PAL collection, but actually playing them for more than a couple minutes makes me wanna throw a brick through my TV.

Hardcore 4x4 is really.... Crap. Also don't get Mighty Hits it sucks. Hardcore 4x4 is fine, also Mighty Hits is just like the Point Blank games & Point Blank is awesome so Mighty Hits is too. If you're going to start ripping on light gun games at least choose the bad ones. Revolution X comes to mind pretty quickly, Remember 'Music IS the weapon!'
