A brand new laser would cost more than the console, sadly. Otherwise, I would've already bought some.

If you do a quick google you can get one for £18 shipped, and if you change it ok you have a saturn with a brand new laser.
Alternatively you're going to be grabbing a 2nd hand one for £20+ with a laser that could be well on it's way out.
If you're technically minded enough to do it it's well worth it.

I didn't check it online, only the local prices, which were 2x as high as the console itself... I'll probably buy one online.

Question, the store link in the sticky points to an Optima150S laser, but on the site they also have an Optima6S (which is a little cheaper - yeah, 1eur only, but if I order many + VAT, it adds up). Shouldn't the Optima6S be a better choice, on a Saturn that uses the Optima6 (non-S)?
Or is the Optima6 and Optima6S have some incompatibility issues that causes problems specifically with the Saturn, and the 150S is the one considered to be all-out compatible?

Theoretically the Optima6S should be fine, however I've got no experience using that laser so I'm not going to give you a definate yes or no.

But the Optima150S is tested and working in Saturns?

*BUMP*
I'm sending out a lot of Saturn parts at the moment for nothing, but getting very little donated to refresh stocks, if you have anything console wise drop me a message please.
Many thanks, Mick.

I'll have a look for you HST, but I'm really short on model 1 bits and I have a feeling I've already sent out a couple of power switches, no harm in looking though!

Hey Mick. Do you have any Model 2 Saturn PSUs that work in Canada?
I just opened my dropped Saturn and I found my PSU's PCB cracked and pieces broke off...

I am completely cleaned out of spare PSUs, the only ones I have now are PAL UK and none working.
