ha i payed £60 for the v saturn mk2 with with controller and a spare white saturn controller, step down and two a/v cables and game so wasnt a bad price. some of his stuff is fairly priced but some seems ridiculous or is it just me ? that seems fairer i understand its for a pal copy which means rarer. thats why i collect japanese titles purely for price. £14 vs £50 but i cant say alot really i bought the v saturn for the same reason so that makes me a hypocrite really

He is selling some GBA games that look like bootlegs to me.
Generally though when someone lists a game at an outrageous price it's in the hope of establishing a new going rate for it. The price eventually gets jacked up if other sellers try to match that price. It's kind of disgusting but that's what is being going in with the PAL Saturn market in the last few years. It's now completely silly and I hope it crashes soon.

yeh i would quite happily buy pal games if the weren't so much more exspensive
the prices of n64 have nearly tripled in the last month with christmas im now selling mine with 10 games starting at £20 im watching one now unboxed and its at 50 with a day left. but its only ones with bundles that are selling well dunno if the rise will last after christmas
i hope not i wanna buy a coloured one next year
i can still remember being able to buy saturn games for £1/£2 each even the rare titles were like a fiver maybe a tenner if only id known i would have bought them all up then i wouldnt have to be concerned with stupid prices.

yeh i think sellers need to be fairer with their prices , when i sell stuff i always look at the going rate but offer deals ect, even on ebay if its a buy it now i always put or best offer. there is a bloke on ebay who has a saturn console boxed but the saturn is no good at all he has it on there as buy it now or best offer £20 i offered him £10 he said no so i told him i actually only wanted the box although it was mint by any standard and he turned me down so i offered him £13 still turned me down how does he expect to sell it for £30 including postage? even at £13 it still would have cost me £23 with postage for a box IDIOT

It's a game that's very much in demand, and it does contain the definitive version of Street Fighter 2. £150 is probably fair value for it as things stand.

When running the PAL version though, 60hz is highly recommended if you want to play the game as it was intended to be seen. In 50hz it suffers with slow down, screen tearing and frame rate issues... Alpha 2 Dash is smooth like it's previous version in 50hz mind.

It's now completely silly and I hope it crashes soon. why would it crash? I'm not only a videogame collector but also somewhat for comic books and mostly tintin. That collection scene is much older than the game scene and prices there range for a first print black and white tintin as literally unpayayable and the later colored forst presses can now cost you easily over 1.000 euros and there were a LOT more pressed from those, then there are saturn games. and keep in mind these comics of tintin cost 0.20 euro or something like that in the 50s and have basically more than thousandfold in price the same will happen with games in the next decades. that's why I'm getting as much as I can now. I read a book about a tintin collector who personally knew herge, his collection is estimated to be worth 60 million dollars and it's only tintin. not that he will ever sell it and he basically got nearly everything for next to nothing. just being at the right place at the right time. edit: see I quoted a 5 year old post. just proves how right my observation is in this regard.

I also love my games but my kids have no interest in any of it other than knowing it's worth a small fortune by ebay standards if I die.
As for prices, check out Turrican 3 on Megadrive. Less than 3 years ago mint £30... Today they are asking £150-£250 and since this price increase a load of repro's have now appeared from now where that are selling for more than what a genuine copy of Turrican 3 was selling for 36 months ago! Fucking fucked up and then some.

Even Magic Knight Rayearth has gotten ridiculous in recent times. Couple of years ago I got it for little over £100. Now it regularly goes for £300+

I recently sold a copy for about £270. This was an auction with a 99p start price and dozens of bids, so no silly Buy it Nows or one off careless buyers involved. I sold it to a guy in France and wrapped it up as if it was made of china LOL. Part of the increase recently seen is due to the devaluation of the pound against the Euro. Anyway, if you only want to play the game, just get an action replay and the JP version which is the same.
