Got a copy of Croc a few weeks ago and was enjoying playing it. It ran fine when I got it and for a few weeks. Recently though the games graphics have been mangled. Croc's head is like invisible and the graphics don't fully load so I cannot see large chunks of the level. I've tried cleaning the disc with a soft clothe and it did not help. I was just wondering if I would be able to get the disc resurfaced based on how old the disc is itself. The disc has very few scratches and none seem that deep but my Saturn just cant read it... yet it can read my worms disc that has 2 cracks through the disc

This has been covered in some detail in the past: segasaturngroup.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=games&action=display&thread=2616This is a bug found in ALL Pal copies of the game - although it is corrected in the subsequent American and Japanese releases. A leaflet was included with all copies shortly after its initial release that explained the bug and how to ensure that the game loaded correctly - although early buyers unfortunately wouldn't have had it included with their copy and I'm sure many of these have probably been removed/lost in many copies out there too!!) Basically, don't boot up your Saturn with the disc in - wait until the CD menu & then put in the disc and then start from the menu. Everything should now work fine.

sorry for double post but this does indeed happen on NTSC copies of the game as well Now that I think of it I always played Croc after playing another game so I should have thought of this. Thanks for the help infernal

I wasn't aware that the NTSC version had the same problem. I guess that clears that up lol.
