I took back out my Saturn today and started playing Galaxy Fight for some odd reason. I just felt like playing it.
I don't remember loving the game this much. Ace soundtrack, awesome gameplay, stunning visuals!
Not many people liked the game, but I'm having a blast! I just completed the game as Roomi and I'm starting with Gunter now.
After that I'm going to pop in and play some Gale Racer and Gradius Deluxe Pack. (Probably Gradius I)

I bought Tiger Woods for the PS2 the other day for £1, but my PS2 has decided it doesn't want to play blue or black cds any more, so Actua Golf it is.

I've been playing Virtual On, mainly because I bought the PS2 version - so decided to go back and play the Saturn version.

Ah yeah! Virtual On is excellent! I haven't played that in a while actually... I think I'll give it another go later on tonight.

I've tried Radiant Silvergun on Cassini emulator and this game is pure genius! Why it has to be so pricey, why? And since now every shmup I play will not feel as good as before beacuse I already played RS... damn.

And since now every shmup I play will not feel as good as before beacuse I already played RS... damn. RS isn't that rare, but it's not common either. High demand in Japan, USA and Europe and lows stocks keep the price up......around £80-£110 depending on condition, spine etc. If you collect Saturn shmups a nice title to own, as a gamer I would say £110 would buy 3 or 4 really good shmups and leave RS till last or later in your collection. Even though It's a very good game, I ignore the hype, and rate quite a few shmups higher on the saturn gameplay-wise. As far as graphics though, there are only a few titles to match RS. Not everyones cup of tea, mind you. ;D the over complex chaining/scoring (as in Ikaruga), the rpg style weapons level ups and overall slower more strategic pace don't suit every player. Nobody ever mentions this but it's quite a good 2 player game as well.

Keep an eye out for RS without a case, my disc only copy only cost me around £30 then I made a nice PAL style case for it

Treasure confirmed that 50,000 copies of RS were made. So in collector's terms, its slightly uncommon at best. But the hype and demand have sent the price up over time. Its still possible to get it for cheap if you are patient though.

Yeah but... the thing I regret most is that it wasn't released outside japan. I'm focusing now only on PAL titles, maybe I'm gonna start collecting imports someday but still RS price will reamin high for sure the lowest price on ebay I've seen so far was about 100 pounds... to compare, 20£ is a lot money for me already, not mentioning 100... Still I don't understand why so many great games didn't make it to Europe... especially such quality titles like RS.

The Saturn was bombing out of the Market... RS would not have saved the console.
In an age where Tomb Raider III was the new black - RS would have bombed along with the Saturn.

Chizzles is unfortunately correct... I can't believe I just said that.
