I may be misreading this but are people confusing Watts and Volts a little here?

Not misreading Mick, I got them mixed up too. Anyway , here in europe we're able to use the 110 V JP Saturn by using a 220V to 110V step down converter , at least that is what i did.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure how you properly power 240v devices in countries that only offer 110-120v. How do you get TWICE the amount of required voltage from a standard AC outlet to power such devices?
Presumably a step-up device may very well exist, which somehow gathers, harnesses and transforms enough voltage to then be sent to a 240vac device, however, one can only assume that such practices would be (if I'm honest) rather uneconomical for overseas usage? Requiring twice as much power output at all times to constantly power this Saturn, for example?
Like I said, I'm not entirely sure how it works without using *Taa-dah!* Google...

Well what about just changing out the power supply in the Saturn? I would prefer that to an external device, actually.

Oh I know, but I posted up pictures of the inside of the Saturn and don't think anyone said anything about what I do next, lol. If anyone can point my in the right direction (what parts I need, where to get them) then I'd greatly appreciate it!

Nope it wasn't me. It was Getdomain. He had the rest of the stock. I think Galaxy sold the hole stock 3 years ago for less than 1000 baht (23 euros) per Saturn. I have one of those Saturn , unfortunatelly without box and manual... It's a NTSC-J system running on 220 volt.
