What was your first Saturn game, or games? What was the experience like? Do you still enjoy the game/s today?

Virtua Fighter, still love it despite the fact it's aged very badly.

Virtua Fighter, still love it despite the fact it's aged very badly. Spot on. I bought the UK machine with VF and very quickly got myself Daytona to go with it. I don't play VF much now, but I kick the ass of Daytona (and CCE AND Dreamcast) regularly.

Sega rally, on a mates console.........still play it today, and it's just as challenging! Yeah, more limited car and track selection than newer games, but the quality of the conversion and the overall feel cannot be matched.....

When I brought my Saturn I brought three games with it: Daytona USA C.C.E., Doom and Tomb Raider.
I popped Daytona in first, and I found it to be the best of the three games. I played this so much, that I even thought it was better than Rally for quite some time (well both games were converted by the same CS Team). Over time it has lost some of it's charm, especially after hours upon hours of playing Rally, but its still a good game in it's own right, and sits proudly in collection next to Rally and the original Daytona.
I really loved Doom, and for a while it was tied as my favourite game with Daytona. Then my friends pointed out the glaring faults with the conversion - the slow frame-rate in particular, which I certainly started to notice on some of the later Doom II levels. Still, apart from my first play of the game near its release on PC, this was where I played the majority of Doom, and I found it a very enjoyable experience. I no longer own the game, so I don't know how well it stacks up today to my memories. I can't stand the PSX version - it makes me feel queasy despite being a good conversion.
Tomb Raider was a nice change of pace. I noticed the quality of the game from the beginning, especially in the second level. I never progressed through the game too far though because I found it quite difficult. Having played it recently, I still think it's a good game, although it certainly looks dated. It's better than the onslaught of sequels it spawned too.

Didn't get into it till quite a bit later in the Saturn's lifespan (I was too busy with other things in life during that time).
I got it when Sega did the system + 3 games (VF2, Daytona, and and Virtua Cop) for $199 deal back in... Holiday season of 96 or so when I was living in L.A. I can't remember which one I threw in there first, but I'd imagine VF2 -- it's why I decided to buy it anyway.

Virtua Fighter and Cyber Speedway. Fighter was ace, Cyber Speedway was pants and quickly exchanged for Sega Rally.

If I remember correctly my first was Sega Rally when the system first came out. I traded off a couple years later but bought new stuff in 2006. I'm playing a Japanesse copy of Sega Rally now and still love it. I posted this somewhere else to, but there is an arcade near where I live that has 4 Sega Rally cabs and they still make a good amout of money. That game will last forever.

Think it was either VF2 or Christmas NiGHTS
Got a bundle from Comet for crimbo 96, came with VF2, Sega Rally, Daytona and Christmas NiGHTS.
Was amazing playing a 3D fighter for the first time, had read all the reviews and seen only screenshots, was loads different to Street Fighter and MK. Didn't even bother with Sega Rally for the 1st two days I had it.

I got my Saturn on launch day with Virtua Fighter, Daytona USA, International Victory Goal and Clockwork Knight, though I seem to recall the first game that I actually played being a demo of Victory Boxing, Panzer Dragoon or Virtua Fighter 2 - it's been a while so please forgive me!

Sega Rally was the pack-in. So Virtual On was the first I bought!

First game I ever played, on an imported Saturn before the UK release, was Sega Rally followed by Daytona USA. When I got my own console in I think in 1996 it came with Sega Rally, Daytona USA and Virtua Fighter 2.
