Destruction Derby and Virtua Fighter Kids. Wanted a PS1 to play Destruction Derby but when it came to the Saturn I went for SEGA's beauty. Crap game mind

The machine was bundled with Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter 2, Alien Trilogy, and Olympic Soccer. I can't remember which one I played first.

it seems im the only one with a sort of unique first game.
Everyone else mentiosn the typical sega arcade titles.
My first game was Exhumed. First FPS I ever played and still love it to this day.

The first Segs Saturn Game I played ever was a game called Battle Monsters. It wasn't the greatest game I ever purchased, but I found it enjoyable at the time.

Battle Monsters was a good laugh, if a bit generic

Battle Monsters was a good laugh, if a bit generic It was only a laugh in 2 player in my opinion. Luckily I shared my first Saturn with my younger brother.

I got FIFA 97 with my Saturn (which I still have) when I bought it in late '97. I didn't play it until I already had other games, and then I discovered what a gem it was. I sold it some two or three years later, though. Too bad, it's a good football game even though the swedish teams are far from well-balanced. Actually better than the great FIFA 96 imho.

While I had some amazing experiences playing NiGHTS, Astal and Virtua Cop over and over and over, nothing beats the awe I had when I fired up my new system for the first time. The first game I definitely played was the pack-in, Virtua Fighter, and I'm of the mindset that it hasn't aged poorly at all. If anything, it's one of the games that has really still managed to endure in spite of its graphics. Graphically, though, at the time is was certainly a thrill. The first thing I ever popped in my Saturn, though, was the "Choice Cuts" CD that essentially served as a long promo of the system itself. Some pretty cool advertising that really set the mood, and I remember thinking how awesome all that blocky full motion video looked! Still, that whole disc, with the bald guy affirmatively stating "Sega Saturn." while all this rock music and montage played behind him is something I'll never forget. EDIT: Here's the video I'm talking about.

At the videogame shop no Saturn videogame was avaiable, so they gave me a "Bootleg Sampler" demo disc. But I can't remember what was the first complete game I had. I think Casper o Bug Too!. Or maybe Tomb Raider.
