What do you think is the best graphical achievement by the Saturn? (Sorry if this topic already exists, I couldn't find it).
In the 2D area it still holds its own pretty well with the likes of Guardian Heroes and Marvel VS Capcom.
I think Nights into dreams still looks quite good today. It’s aged, but it’s still got some magic on offer.

Saturn had the Best 32 Bit Graphics at the time, When I first got my Saturn i was surprised on how good VF 2 looked, but When I played a game like Tekken or Soul Blade I went " Oh well, the Gameplay makes up for it " If the Saturn would have stayed around Longer it would have came up with alot of great looking games, As for the best looking Saturn game I would have to go with VF 2, Love the game to bits

Probably Guardian Heroes. Really detailed (surprisingly, it looks less blocky on a 26inch than a 14?!) and superb art design.

I always thought that Shinobi looked amazing.

If im not allowed to say the Shenmue demo then I would have to go with Virtua Fighter 2,
It's well modelled, well textured, the animation is excellent and thanks to its resolution it looks amazingly crisp and fresh even today. The quad count of the models isnt actually much less that the models used on the original Half-Life, two games seperated by 3 years, which as we all know in the games industry is a lifetime!

- VF2 for its clean, high-res graphics. - Radiant Silvergun for its effects. - And pretty much all the 4MB Capcom games looked great.

Burning Rangers does look stunning at times, but for me the unusual way Sonic Team achieved transparencies (using a large pixellated grid that is best seen if you place your character over an object using the effect) and regular instances of polygonal glitching ruined things a bit too much for me. Virtua Fighter 2 and Last Bronx aren't perfect either when it comes to flickering, while NiGHTS is rife with cosmetic flaws. While it's not the Saturn's greatest achievement technically, Street Fighter Zero 3 deserves a notable mention. Also, unless its problems were cleverly edited out of the only video footage we've seen (so far, at least) then the prototype of Shenmue has to be rated quite high as well.

I think NiGHTS is a great looking Saturn game. But for me Virtua Fighter 2 is technically amazing on the Saturn.

Yes, the Shenmue prototype is in a world of its own, but still not a patch on what AM2 had in mind for its cancelled Saturn conversion of Virtua Fighter 3 - now there's a game that would have redefined what a 32-bit console was capable of!

Haven't got it but from what I've seen Panzer Dragoon Saga. From my collection probably Saturn Bomberman in 2.5D and PD Zwei in 3D.
