Been playing this on and off lately. Well into the first disc now. Quite easy so far. But a good game, better than I expected. Are there any secrets or tips I should look out for? The voice acting is awful/ hilarious. Mookie and DuBois are ridiculous! You can practically see them reading the script. www.behindthevoiceactors.com/video-games/Deep-Fear/

There's an auto aim you can assign in the options menu and you can also get an infinite number of max heals in the section where you need to mix chemicals.

No tips or secrets I can really think of other than the chemical ratio mix one. I'm glad you're enjoying Deep Fear, I love that game!

Survival horror games are best played around Christmas time. Given that it tends to be dark, cold, windy at that time of year. Allowing for a superior atmosphere and experience.

Yes I agree, works best in the dark. i'm in a survival horror phase at the moment and loving it. I'm playing them late at night just before bed mainly and enjoying the artificial "fear" of turning off the lights in the house and feeling very very slightly nervous about it.

This works particularly well for Cursed Mountain. Playing that game in January/February in my basement with no jacket or sweater on, I got the same sort of icy chills down my spine I'd expect to get if I really were climbing some haunted mountain in the snow-covered Himalayas.

I recently started playing the game and just finished it. wow. fantastic ending and a FANTASTIC soundtrack. the monster design is excellent. all the backtracking on disc 2 did get a bit tedious though. 7.8/10
also on a note. when playing with the 3d controller, it loses the tank controls and plays similar to let's say mario 64 in terms of control. it controls really well. you can also run and aim with your gun at the sane time this way.
