One of my favorite times of year to game. Around the autumn season/Halloween season I just get really into the seasonal games. Growing up survival horror was a favorite genre but as I get older I only seem to have a taste for it this time of year.
This year I have 2 games that I have never played before lined up and Im super excited.
SEGA Saturn: - Enemy Zero: Finally. Ever since reading the reviews for it way back in 1997, finally getting a chance to pop it in. Ive owned it for a while but have been waiting until Halloween.
Others: - PS1 - Clock Tower - Finally picked up a physical copy last week. Very excited to finally play this one after all of these years.

Mr Bones I thought would be an obvious choice. I know people will bring up Resident Evil and Deep Fear, but these are more Winter types games IMO.

I'll be revisiting Black Matrix & Torico this halloween. House of the Dead will be my starter to get me in the mood first.

Great choices. I forgot about House of the Dead as I play throughout the year but that will make a very nice starter.
Maybe we can make a list of Halloween/Horror/SciFi games for Saturn? It wasnt a survival horror powerhouse but there are some.
It doesn't have to all be adult themed either. I like a good family Halloween game (love the Luigis Mansion series)
English: Deep Fear Mansion of Hidden Souls Resident Evil House of the Dead Alien Trilogy Alone in the Dark 2 Area 51 Lunacy/Torico Frankenstein D Mr. Bones Casper The Crow City of Angels Batman Arcade Game
JPN: Baroque Phantasm Black Matrix
Themed Sections: Shining Force III (Quonas village section) Shining the Holy Ark (Mansion in graveyard forgot the name) Christmas Nights (I assume it has a Halloween part?)
Even the horror themed sections like the ones above end up being my favorite parts of these non-horror games.

Crow City of Angels and Batman Forever The Arcade game should be in there too. This thread inspired me to play Resident Evil again, currently mid way with my infinite shot gun. SEGA Saturn: - Enemy Zero: Finally. Ever since reading the reviews for it way back in 1997, finally getting a chance to pop it in. Ive owned it for a while but have been waiting until Halloween. All the best with Enemy Zero, make sure you watch the opening theme on Disc 0 before you begin the actual game as that sets up the tone for the entire game and get lots of practice in the training mode because you'll need it. As I'm sure you can tell from my signature, I'm an Enemy Zero nut.

Its not you, I just don't want even the slightest bit of spoilers I think you said something innocent earlier in the year when I got a copy in the "games you want to play in 2016 thread". I almost went nuts. Nothing on you at all, Im just weird about clean experiences. I even try to avoid your signature picture when viewing the forum lol. That said I will return once I finish the game and you'll be the first I have a discussion with.

I'm going to run through Deep Fear for the first time. Looking forward to it I just added that to my list if I have time. I have an official US prototype version that I really want to play. Its 100% complete just never made it to print in the US. Im hoping its the best version too, being NTSC 60hz and localized.

I'm sure the actual proto costs a pretty penny. I'm going to run through Deep Fear for the first time. Looking forward to it make sure you play with the 3d controller! I would have thought it would play better with the dpad since it uses tank controls? How does the 3D pad make it better? (I don't have one atm but planned to get one further down the line, I'll move that forward if there's a large benefit to using it here though).

I'll say no more on the matter. Enjoy the game.

Still can't play HotD on my Saturn. For the season I'll probably put The Room 1 & 2 on my iPad again and give them another play through. Don't really have that many scary games if I'm honest.
I'll probably get D at some point.
