To be honest, I think I'm done with collecting Saturn games for the moment, or at least commercially-released titles... The prototype scene is where it's at for me now, and I'm curious to see what this year brings. For example, it looks as if several builds of Cyber Sled are very close to being made available, not to mention there are rumours of at least more footage of Shenmue Saturn Version - if not playable code as well! - surfacing as bonus content with Shenmue III (assuming this isn't delayed until 2018, which is a very real possibility considering the apparent lack of progress based on its recent development updates). Of course, just as the mythical "1.5" version of BioHazard/Resident Evil 2 finally surfaced, I remain hopeful someone will share one of the many Saturn games known to exist before also being cancelled entirely, plus there's always the chance of more from the attempts to get those countless variations on Sonic Xtreme running on stock hardware. However, it would be great to see things like Adidas Power Soccer, Reloaded or Saturn Virtua Fighter 3, especially as all of these were believed to have been completed. If not, how about the new owner of those Destruction Derby 2 alpha discs does us a massive favour? Every time you talk you shake my heart, i want to share your optimism about that protos you talk about...desperately i want. Exactly the same happens to me, i´m focused in all related cancelled Saturn games, and there are many of them that have been revealed recently: Heart of darkness, Bledlam, Prize fighter, Aftermath/Armed, Crime Patrol, The last dinasty, Cybersled and old acquaintances like Destruction derby 2 or Clokwork knight puzzle, even Waterworld. So, my wishlist for this year? take seat on my sofa , turn on my Saturn and discover what would have been possible to enjoy with those games i named before, 22 years later but with the expectation and illusion that when i was young.

Ressurecting Links thread. It's the halfway point now, another 6 months to go and that's the end of 2017. How's everyone getting on with their wishlist? Have many of of you suceeded in obtaining the games you wanted at the start of the year or have you strayed? Any new additions to add to your list that weren't on it at the beginning of the year?

I have everything I want, and won't be obtaining any Saturn related stuff for the rest of the year. As I'm wanting to get a Switch + games at the end of the year, as well at Darksoft's Neo Geo SD Cart. I do have other Saturn related stuff I want to get, but I'll save it for the 2018 thread.

I could have gotten most of the games on my list of PAL games if money wasn't so tight recently. Just enjoying what I've got instead.

Picked up Necronomicon early in the year.
Have found out that Shanghai Triple Threat has alternative names so it's easier to get hold of than I thought and it isn't expensive but I'm holding out for a nice example.

Well, there's what I want, and what I can afford Steep Slope Sliders Deep Fear Astal Alone in the Dark Soukyougurentai Mr. Bones Guardian Heroes Tomb Raider Dodonpachi Of course, I'm always holding out for a deal on those high price games like Burning Rangers, Torico, and especially Enemy Zero. And of course Panzer Dragoon Saga, but I'm not hopeful at all about that. Maybe a garage sale or something... I'll probably get a bunch of these near Christmas. I recently got D so that checks one thing off my list.

I've cleared half of my list, with some of the harder to get ones already bought.
Now the hardest ones will be D (good priced and English is so hard to find...) and Silhouette Mirage.
I'll also probably add Capcom Generations 2 ti the list since that, D and Quake will make a fun October!

I managed to snag another game on my wish list out in the wild: Dark Savior. I haven't had a chance to play it yet since I'm not at home, but I look forward to it.
I almost managed to grab Duke 3D as well. However, the store clerk was adamant that the game was worth $70 when I know it's worth $30 at most.
How's everyone else going with their Saturn wish list?

Good find, i lost the opportunity to grab a Dark Savior disc, only 3€ but i dindt buy it...a big shame when i think about it. My last Saturn game was Enemy Zero complete and near mint condition. Is the only game i had in the las two years. Now im more focussed on unreleases stuff...

Are there any differences with the JPN version of Baku Baku compared to the PAL version? Nothing major as far as I know. There's the league mode which has to be unlocked via button presses in the PAL version but gameplay-wise I think it is the same. The JP version has more intros and interludes - but they will be nonsensical as the ones in the PAL version- I would just like to have both versions of the game as it's one of my favourites.
