Following on from a similar thread last year. I like to know what games, accessories or anything Saturn related people are wanting. In 2016 I obtained most of what I wanted. However, purchasing crawled to a halt after the fall in the pound as a result of the Brexit vote. I actually sold a lot of my Saturn games both to cover a car repair and to contribute towards obtaining a Neo-Geo AES and all the games and accessories that come with it. Last year I bought Dungeons & Dragons, Official Memory Cart, Virtua Controller, DoDonPachi, Soukyugurentai, Marvel Vs Capcom, Twin Sticks and Shining Force 3. This year I hoping to get Premium Disc for Shining Force 3, a loose blue or red disc to go with Magic Knight Rayearth and finally Nekketsu Oyako. Personally, I hope there is some dip in the market. Possibly as a result of a recession. As many of the games prices are getting out of control.

Mostly shooters. Also like you oddly enough, SF III Premium disc is on my list for this year too. I passed on a bad condition one last year in my area. I also need a loose Hikaru (red disc) for Magic Knight Rayearth to complete the set of 3.

2017 already got off to a great start for me as a person who just got into Saturn. In the space of just 3 days I've bought Virtua Fighter Remix, Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Cop 2, Daytona USA, Sega Touring Car Championship, Panzer Dragoon and a MK2 controller, adding up to just £40 overall. Plus, I'm buying some games off a Gumtree seller that I've got some stuff off before, and all of them are bargains. Nights Into Dreams for £2.50 (yes really), Exhumed for £5, and House Of The Dead for £30, which is not that bad of a price considering that it's been going up in price over the past few months.
Also, because I'm only 13 and on a budget here, at some point I might burn some of the rarer games onto discs, like Burning Rangers and Panzer Dragoon Saga. If that fails and it turns out I'm terrible at disc burning, I might have a look around on Etsy to see if I can find a seller that does them cheap.
Anyway, now that I've got the majority of arcade titles out of the way, I'm gonna focus more on some exclusives, or at least games that didn't come out in the arcades. Here they are ranked in order of which I want the most.
1. Guardian Heroes 2. Virtua Cop 3. Fighters Megamix 4. Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei 5. Marvel Super Heroes 6. Shining The Holy Ark 7. Resident Evil 8. Virtual On: Cyber Troopers 9. Die Hard Arcade 10. Quake 11. Manx TT Super Bike 12. Athelete Kings 13. Street Fighter Alpha 1 and 2 14. Last Bronx 15. Sonic 3D
Hopefully I won't use up all of my pocket money buying these as I do want to spend it on other things, like PS4 games and clothes. I think I'll fit most of them in though.

Looks to me like you've done great research in the games you are looking to buy, all top quality games. Your knowledge at 13 on Saturn games is really impressive so props to you. If you want save a bit of money as you indicated for other stuff then avoid inferior versions in franchises i.e it's not necessary to own Streetfighter Alpha 1 AND 2. One or the other will do. Virtua Fighter Remix is also pointless if you also bought VF2 and are planning on getting Megamix as well. In answer to the thread title, I'm personally happy with the crop of games in my collection and don't plan to get anymore. There are a few duplicates I'll get getting rid off and I'll probably spike my spare backup AR4in1 with pseudo at some point as I do want to experience Policenauts one day.

The US and JPN titles that you are chasing, on the other hand, have gone pretty nutty on Ebay recently.

You have to be aware, not every game is playable using Psudeo Saturn. Scud Assassin, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Batman Forever Arcade, Vampire Savior and most notably Panzer Dragoon Saga don't work. Not to mention games where it's preferable to save directly to the memory cart like Shining Force 3 and Dragon Force won't work, and yes I have tried cart swapping, but it looks like you need to have the memory cart in before the system is powered on

To be honest, I think I'm done with collecting Saturn games for the moment, or at least commercially-released titles... The prototype scene is where it's at for me now, and I'm curious to see what this year brings. For example, it looks as if several builds of Cyber Sled are very close to being made available, not to mention there are rumours of at least more footage of Shenmue Saturn Version - if not playable code as well! - surfacing as bonus content with Shenmue III (assuming this isn't delayed until 2018, which is a very real possibility considering the apparent lack of progress based on its recent development updates).
Of course, just as the mythical "1.5" version of BioHazard/Resident Evil 2 finally surfaced, I remain hopeful someone will share one of the many Saturn games known to exist before also being cancelled entirely, plus there's always the chance of more from the attempts to get those countless variations on Sonic Xtreme running on stock hardware. However, it would be great to see things like Adidas Power Soccer, Reloaded or Saturn Virtua Fighter 3, especially as all of these were believed to have been completed. If not, how about the new owner of those Destruction Derby 2 alpha discs does us a massive favour?

I've somehow never heard much about it.

If you're willing to read through literally thousands (!!) of posts, every last development concerning Resident Evil 1.5 has been discussed at great length over on a message board called The Horror Is Alive. However, this is a condensed version of what's happened to the best of my knowledge:
A few years back, the same prototype teased by Curator at PlayStation Museum was sold to a private collector believed to be based somewhere in Europe, who established a small group known as Team IGAS - as in "I Got A Shotgun," which is a reference to an episode of the BioHazard radio drama series, I seem to recall - that has been using assets from later builds to create something more like Capcom might have done if development had continued to completion.
Following a characteristic disagreement within the community, the team's trust was breached when an incomplete version of their restoration work leaked through a lower ranking member along with a custom emulator they'd been using for its extensive debugging capabilities. As a result of this incident, IGAS decided to release their source material, and while the exact figures are questioned by some researchers, it's believe this was approximately 40% complete.
Now, at this point I should probably point out that Capcom's production underwent five distinct phases before they abandoned the 1.5 concept, with the 40% build coming from the so-called fourth era, where the design of the sewers in particular was being overhauled. From what I can gather, this one area is something Capcom was never really able to get right, with the leaked prototype having very little of this present, yet large amounts of everywhere else.
Indeed, the 40% code, better known as the Plain Vanilla Build to enthusiasts, is the only place we can yet sample Capcom's original layout for the RPD building, though its upper floors and staircases are missing. Despite such huge gaps, the work-in-progress version leaked from IGAS, affectionately called Magic Zombie Door due to it only having one room transition sequence, is proof of just how much they'd already managed to add to the original prototype.
On top of this, a few hackers were able to either unlock or inject further new locations, characters and weapons into both circulating builds via the use of patches. Since then, IGAS has maintained a stream of progress reports through screenshots and videos released by a programmer that joined later, offering the team his own proprietary Squeeze Bomb engine, which they've since fully adopted in order to work around the various bugs in Capcom's incomplete code.
Most recently, the collaboration between Team IGAS and Gemini's Loboto 3 have given the world a first taste of what players can expect from their unofficial reconstruction of Resident Evil 1.5, which has never had a definite release date. For now, we have a teaser consisting of a Dino Crisis styled battle mode and some unlockable content, serving as a preview of the extra features you can expect from IGAS when their work is finally done, whenever that ends up being.
Did any of that make sense? I suspect my Cliff Notes take on the convoluted history of BioHazard 1.5 has a few inaccuracies, but I too was out of the loop for a while!

I also had a look at a video showing it in motion, had no idea this existed. Shame it never got released.

Barry as such a big Res Evil fan surprised you had never heard of 1.5 . I think its discovery was certainly one of the biggest prototype unocoverings in the community. However I knew only a fraction of what Anthaemia mentioned.
