I wouldn’t. CCE isn’t proper Daytona, it’s Sega Rally reskinned to look like Daytona. Circuit Edition out of Japan is closer to correct. The Japanese version of Daytona (CE), has car handling closer to the original but is not quite the same, but it's not 'Sega Rally reskinned'. It was remade by some of the members of the team that brought you Sega Rally. I remember the agony of waiting for the release, then the stifled disappointment of the magazines when it came out. The general consensus was that as as racing game, it was great, but as a Daytona title, it was off target as far as handling went. The expectation was that the conversion was in safe hands because of who was doing it, but the reality fell short of the mark. How cool would it have been if it handled like Sega Rally, though?

I still love F1 Challenge, even after all these years. Even after all the PS1 Ridge Racers became a distant memory (even RR4, which still looks ace, especially though emulation). I still play F1 Challenge often and can somehow ignore the less-than-stellar visuals. Simply because the cars handle so well, or at the very least, in a way that I find agreeable. Also, the rear view mirror thing is spot on, always make sure you turn it off!
Manx TT, I bought full price on release and though it played well with the 3D pad, I always found it somewhat lacking. The game seemed to be designed in such a way that you could be well ahead of the pack, but as soon as you clip a barrier or mess-up a corner, the whole chasing pack flew past you immediately.
As for Hang On GP, well make sure you play it before Manx TT if you're going to check it out, because it stinks, by comparison. Again, just a personal opinion.

You shouldn't have any issues playing the JP version of exhumed. It's a straightforward shoot-everything-that-moves game. Tough as nails, but pretty simple. I always skip the story bits anyway, so it would make no difference to me which language it was in.

Oh, the hours I've wasted in F1 Challenge since the 90s.....
Such a great game, but looks a bit rough round the edges today (I refuse to use the hacky 'it hasn't aged well' line as it looks now exactly like it did back then). Hockenheim is still my favorite track after the full-length Sega track in the game.
But, Sega Rally? I still use the handling in this game as a benchmark for any other arcade-based rally title I buy. V-Rally 4 on the Switch, using the Retrobit wireless pad is the closest I've come to replicating the SR feeling.
I'm kind of jealous of anyone getting to play Sega Rally for the first time.
On topic, though - Buy Daytona CE, then CCE, then the original, would be my advice.

100% ^^
I downloaded the PS3 version of Daytona the minute I heard of it and it's an amazing game, however being an old school gamer, I was disappointed that I couldn't change the controller config to play with the buttons instead of the shoulder triggers to accelerate and brake, but that's a small criticism of an incredible game.
Btw, Sega Rally on the Saturn gets played regularly in my games room. But, even after 20 years, I'm still not nearly as good as I'd like to be. I still never tire of trying to shave time off my best laps, though.

Sega Rally is a dirt-common game for the Saturn. It can be purchased for very little money. Heck, I remember when there was no point in listing it on eBay because you couldn't give it away. My advice would be to snap up a copy.
Daytona USA was the first title I bought for my PAL Saturn and I can remember being disappointed with the poor graphics and the horrible draw-in of the scenery. They addressed that somewhat with the release of Daytona CCE later on, but the new devs managed to fuck with the car handling a bit and made it feel very much not like the Daytona we knew from the arcades. I actually prefer the new version's handling nowadays, but it took a bit of getting used to.
Plus the dreadful music of the CCE version was simply awful, but that's purely subjective.

Welcome to the forums, gogi.
Some suggested titles from me would be:
Daytona CE (I find the JP version plays better than CCE) Guardian Heroes Quake Nights into Dreams Panzer Dragoon Zwei Sega Rally Layer Section 2 Panzer Dragoon Saga Last Bronx Die Hard Arcade VF2
The original versions of these titles would set you back a fortune, so I'm assuming you're going to acquire them by other means. The above list is just some of my own personal favorites, I'm sure others will have their own suggestions.
Have fun.

Unless you can understand Japanese text, or intend to play the fan-translated version, get the PS1 version of Grandia. I bit the bullet a few years ago and did precisely that. I'd had several attempts at playing the JP Saturn version (with a Youtube walkthru by my side) and it was tortuous.
Collect it with the Saturn version, play the PS1 version. Or buy a sealed Saturn version for the shelf and emulate the PS1 version? I did all of the above over the last few years.

Fuck, that's a nice bundle.
Expensive?
The JP version of Daytona handles the best, IMO and Guardian Heroes is perfectly playable as a brawler, without a translation.

Or you could get into a heated debate about how you disagree with me that Perth Heat will runaway with this season's ABL championship

Yes i was very lucky. Im pretty sure the only issue with it is a failing power switch/cap on the on button. Should be cheap fix if the unit dies again. Yes it came with street fighter but its very badly scratched and only boots the practice mode. Very frustrating. Thats why im looking for a mod chip as just to test it, the cheapest game i can find for it is $30 AU +. I might get lucky soon but after looking at the usual places im not so sure. Also guys, whats the easiest way to get access to the buys and sells section without spamming?
Join in the conversation with genuine input and continue to use auction sites til you get your minimum post count up. It's an unfortunate thing, but in these days of online scammers, its necessary. We all had to do it though.

We've got enough trouble on our hands with Familia and Diaz as our closers, Wheeler is most likely heading to Chicago and we have holes in centre field and at 3rd. We need a solid starter. Maybe the Stro Show will start in year 2. Anyway, welcome to the UK retrogaming forums, John
