For some of the US consoles and accessories, I asked myself which serial if the good one to keep, like on this last set of pictures: is it MK-80001 or 80001 ?

Thanks for these new photos. For the Thailand console, I also have it. I wonder if I will add a new entry or if I keep the ASIA model MK-80228-07 as it is just a variation of it (stickers from the retailer added on the box and the back of the console). But just when I write the sentence above, I think as I add US variations with stickers, I may add this Thailand console, right ?

Sorry for the lack of update of the Console database, my apologies to all who sent me information in the past year (yes, that's a lot of time, sorry). I took the time to update it the last week-end, adding approx 20 new entries. It is already on-line. I just need to make mini-pictures for some. I will quickly add the store for saturn console (and accessories), like I made for games, to help you find, in 1 clic, all the good (and bad ) sega saturn auctions on multiple eBay sites.

Zoop was released in JPN. A release was planned for the US but canceled at the end.
I don't know if there are any differences between Dark Legend and other releases.

Rarer than Samsung Saturn. 2 models of MK-80200A-08 exist: one published by kama and one published directly by Sega. Both of them are the same saturn (made by Sega), the kama one has 2 extra stickers on the back. This is a JPN model 2 saturn, but in black. So a mix of the US/EU late model and logo from JPN late model. Anything else you need to know about them ?

Just to go one step further... You CAN use either the PAL or JP version of the cart for this. I know because I have played my unboxed PAL copy with my JP KOF 95 cart plugged in the back. Would seem that apart from the label, the carts are identical. I'm confident the reverse is true as well (use PAL cart with JP game). Hope that helps... as acquiring the JP cart WILL be much cheaper Confirmed, data in PAL and JPN KOF'95 cartridges are strictly identical (both was dumped and data 100% match). So for playing, you must buy the JPN version instead of a PAL cartridge alone at a very high price.

An easy one: Time Bokan Series Bokan to Ippatsu! Doronboo Kanpekiban. But this is not a shmup for hardcore. You also have the Cotton series, Game Tengoku ~The Game Paradise!~ and the Dezaemon 2 shmup makers if you want to try something different.

Thanks for the Netlink console information. Zyrobs, any picture of this model with the alt barcode ? Maybe synbiosfan could let us know the information of his console ?
The 80012 serial is also strange, as it is the same serial for Sega Rally championship pack-in version of the game (not on satakore's online db, but validated and added to the offline db). So same serial for console and game. Could you check the case of the Sega Rally packed with the netlink console and see which serial it has ?
