I moved out of my flat a few years ago and back in with my parents due to how high the rent is, I live in the Bromley Suburb, 15 minutes by overground into london bridge , so to sum up, huge house is because of my parents, tiny flat was what i used to live in, all cramped up hah Prab My monthly mortgage payments on this house are half what my rent was on a one bedroom apartment in Putney. I was paying £400 for 1 bedroom in a share flat, with bills and council tax on top, eventually it got too much especially with the rent increase. That was in Kingston Upon Thames

I would love a c128d! at least the machine itself acts like a monitor riser haha

Well i'll do the majority of retro gaming on my trinitron, but on my desk i'll have the 1084 so if i want to do a bit of gaming while i'm suppose to be getting on work, its not a bad thing

£10 RGB scart on a £10 crt tv. better picture than a scaler and saves you over £300. Win. Scart adapter on a commodore 1084 monitor and its even better then a good CRT TV but yes, I agree with your statement as I love CRTs

If your in the UK, you will have to have a modded saturn, as only NTSC usa netlink games will work

Could take the casing off around the cart to gauge the situation

some wd40 around the edges may help lube it a bit, wd40 is safe on electrical contacts aswell , not really heard of the cards getting stuck in there before!

Ideally you should just get an old crt for the retro machines, unless you want to go the scaling route (very expensive), a cheaper but still fairly expensive option is to get an RGB scart, and then use a scart to component transcoder
