The voices are English, but the text is all Japanese.

Bubble Symphony arrived today - excellent game. Basically its a great sequel to the legendary original. It certainly looks and sounds better than Bubble Bobble and there are some nice gameplay enhancing tweaks including selectable characters, a new power up move (different for each character) and secret doors and levels to hunt out. It also branches after each batch of 10 levels after a boss fight by selecting one of 2 doors.
Excellent stuff.

Some really cheap deaths await you in the later levels. Still a nice game to have though.

I'm still getting used to Symphony's overly busy backgrounds too. I'm led to believe there is a cheat code to switch them off.....best to persevere I 'm guessing.

What's Metal Slug like on Saturn and how much does it go for? I have 3, 4 and 5 on PS2 which are excellent. I got anthology for PS2 but its a piss poor PAL translation so I'd like to see it as it was originally intended. I have an AR cartridge so wouldn't need the RAM cart.

Nice set of games neonecko! All are great games excluding Radiant Silvergun. davyk: Metal Slug on Saturn is a solid port. It's missing some animation, and it slows down a lot at times, but its certainly playable. The Neo CD version totally destroys it though. And Metal Slug 3,4,5 on PS2? EWWW, they all have nasty filters that can't be disabled.
