I'm aware of three regular PT releases, but wonder if the PT refurb has any label that indicates that it is a refurb or not.

Whats the verdict doc? Will she make it? Well, there were some interesting developments, this was my daily driver back in the day, had to revisit to region mod as there were 4 wires missing, have absolutely no recollection as to why I would have desoldered 4 wires way back when. I might have been low on parts and in a hurry to place the lovely white jp machine that superceded it in it's place.... To answer your question bro, she did make it through surgery, I'm very pleased! Here's a very happy snap:

@jobal
Happy to hear that the patient was saved. Especially after what sounds like an organ transplant a few years back!

Oh man I remember back when I used a ribbon cable like that for a region switch on the front. I still have the console shell with five switches on it. I need to find a spare motherboard for that machine, the one in it right now has a pin broken on the cartridge port.

Another one for the list, now this one is a *mystery* unit, was passed to me years ago by a friend - however it does not have the original motherboard inside (or at least I assume so), as it boots up with the US/EU logo. Also has a mod chip which is nice! But the motherboard is faulty in some way, it wont go past the splash screen. Model No. HST-3220 (670-8063A) Serial S694 02966

Hello friends. I bought a Sega Saturn on eBay today but the owner does not have to say which version of the plate. He sent me a photo with serial number and model, can I find out the version of the card by the serial number? Thanks all

Bit of a bump, but... My main Sega Saturn. Has a somewhat low serial number I guess, which is pretty cool. VA0 Sega Saturn Model NO. HST-3200 (670-5648-01) Serial NO. B40048826
