What would I be adding, the 2200uF 10V cap?

I really really need to compile the few fixes we have into actual guides. In your post on the thread I linked you posted an image, do you still have that? I've seen 3 different fixes for this fault: A full recap, an additional cap added or the TOP102YAI replaced with an TOP224YN. Just wondering which to try, as doing a full recap seems pointless if there's no reason to.

I'm using what was probably a "Gam3gear" cable from Amazon, or a "Hellfire" one from ebay. Picture looks great on my CRT.
I don't currently have an OSSC so am unable to test.

So I just bought another Saturn, god knows how many I've owned over the years! This is my first model 1 saturn. I currently use my white NTSC saturn in my games room connected to my CRT. It's entirely unmodded and will stay that way.
My plan is to get the model 1 fixed up with a 50/60hz and region switchless mod, connect it to my main TV via an OSSC. To start with I'll need an RGB scart cable.
There are a bunch on Amazon for £7, but then I see the madness that is £30 scart cables.
I'm sure I'm using a cheap one on my current saturn, but I'm wondering if the extra cost really represents value for money or not?

Resident Clockwork super fan here. The code is as follows: Right, Up, Left, Up, Right, Up, Down, Up, Left, Up, Left, Up. The "secret command" is to be put in at the title screen (the main title screen), and simply unlocks the Level Select. Hope that helps! Edit: Added said screen for refrence~ (Credit to Saturn Memories on Youtube as it was taken from his video). Thanks for this. So spinning all cards gives access to the above screen, then inputting that code at title screen gives level select? Will give it a try tonight!

I've no idea, I haven't managed to get there myself and I cant find anything online other than the fact that the hidden options are there.

Has anyone unlocked this by spinning all the playing cards in the game?
I've read about it but never seen it, what options are unlocked? Anyone with it unlocked willing to make a video to show it off?

I can't cancel geifs c.mp in to his CA on a pad, but it's easy on stick. I disagree that sticks are novelty items, they make certain input strings easier for sure.

Hate to necro an old thread, but other than Arcade Club in Manchester are there other 'cades in the UK?
We recently got Konbo in Edinburgh, it's an acrade coffee shop,, the owner has 6 candy cabs and switches games out most days, think he has around 40 or so games in total.
Between my Saturn playing, work, d&D and basketball I don't get to go nearly enough unfortunately.

I saw PAL PDZ for only £180 last year, it wasn't in great condition but I was sorely tempted. I'll likely play a CDR version when I actually want to play it.
I played the demo that was supplied on the magazine cover back in the day and it was ace so I'm sure you'll enjoy playing it.
Can I ask how much it set you back? Do you have any pictures?

How different is the experience between using framemeister and the inbuilt scaler of the TV? I'd love to go the ossc or framemeister route, but I just can't face hanging up my guns just yet.

"PC monitor through an OSSC"
LCD or CRT? I presume LCD, but I'm weighing my options and love my light gun games!

Glad it worked.
Reminds me I need to clean my megadrive and mega cd consoles, they're pretty gross from previous owners

have you tried taking it apart, cleaning everything and reassembling it? I do it on all consoles and controllers I get, make them work as new each time.
