Only if your console is mod chipped I beleive, as a region mod does not mean it can play backups

I've powered my Asian/PAL/Korean Saturns through my US outlet and they seem to work fine. If it were the other way around though (US/JP console into European outlet) it would probably blow up. You would just need an adapter that converts the round pins on the Asian power cable like one of these. Or just use a figure-8 power cable that has the flat pins, like the ones that come with JP Saturns. Though if you're interested in replacing it I have various spare US/JP power supplies. certain parts of asia use a 240v system, his saturn is from one of those parts hence this thread Prab

I wonder, so much time has passed but this conning has been well documented on here, maybe I should take it up with the police?

segasaturngroup.proboards.com/thread/5614/when-exhausted-right-channelsIn short: Stuart J Anseline scammed Prab out of his Saturn for modification services offered, and then sold it on eBay to someone (would you believe) who eventually turned up on our forums. It was only when Prab spotted his Saturn in another members possession that this all really came to light, in a conclusive sense. It's unfortunate for Prab, but yeah; turns out Stuart J Anseline was a scammer/thief I'm afraid - Glad to hear you have since replaced it Prab... Yeah pretty much, I was hoping that the guy who has my saturn would do the right thing and return it but I guess thats not going to happen , my replacement machine ended up costing me £60, came with 2 loose games and a skeleton controller, so i'm really out of pocket to the tune of £160 over one saturn now! eek! Hello, at least collecting games is one of the hobbies where you can cash it back in should you need it. I have a hobby car and the money spent on it is no where near what the car is worth. Welcome back. Haha that is so true but my cars are pretty rare, i know on two of them i could make money and break even on the other! Still ill be glad to spend some on gaming again

Evening everyone, must be a year since ive gotten onto here, i guess i became a bit disheartened when I got conned by someone on here. Since I last was on here a lot of my collection has been sold but i am now trying to recollect! I now have a switchless modded saturn and about 30 games and as far as other consoles go, i still have a fair few but no more snes ;( so going to get some carts again soon, really looking forward to the retron 5!
Most of my games were sold to fund purchase/maintenance of my cars, i now have a decent full time job so can splash out every now and then, if anyone has anh retro goodness to get rid of or trade let me know!
Be good to hear from the old ssuk guys again,
Regards,
Prab
