I have a USA orange one as part of the VC Gunset and a Black Japanese one as part of the House Of the Dead set . Don't use them much these days as I only have a 14 inch CRT.

Nice. Power Drift is one I'll like to pick up in the future. I remember it in the arcade with the moving cockpit - was a bonkers game. The mission stick looks great but I have enough controllers as it is - arcade sticks, wheels, bongos, guns etc.... and none of them store easily. The mission stick doesn't come cheap either!!! Power Drift is on the way for me, always thought it looked like a fun game. Outrun (JP) seems to be around the same price as Power Drift, might have to get it before it goes up. In Yakuza Zero they have arcade machines in the game where you can play Outrun and Space Harrier. I believe a couple others are in it as well, but I guess I can play them there until I decide to buy them. Power Drift is brilliant on the Saturn with a nice extra modes and just some of the best use of the 3D Pad. Great music too

Just ordered JP version of Space Harrier !!!!!!! Not really interested in Afterburner 2 - I have never got on with that game. Was a BiN for £30 so went for it. I always liked a bit of Space Harrier from time to time though Outrun has always been my favourite of that era. Gotta give some love to Afterburner 2. It plays amazing on the Saturn. Really fun game. And you can get good at it quite quickly. That being said I looked at some copies on ebay the other day just for fun (I have one already) and man I was blown away with what people were asking for it! Yeah plays amazing with the Mission Stick too, very much like Space Harrier

The Japanese Saturn verison is stunning and also plays like a dream with the Arcade Racer or 3D pad . I don't like the 60FPS mode or the new music tracks, but it's nice to have them all the same . Even now, not many racers top this game I think the new music fits well but the 60fps version feels too smooth and the game feels slower for it. I didn't like the remixed music in either OutRun or Power Drift on the Saturn, but it's still a nice option to have. I couldn't get on with the 60 FPS mode , it made the game seem slower LOL

I think the thing has to be a certain size for all the interfaces it has. As you say - maybe 2 different devices would be better - but then that's two different manufacturing setups. At the end of the day the installation is non destructive - it could all be undone. The Dreamcast install is a lot easier from what I hear. Well said. Two different boards would be additional costs for manufacturing and R&D and for those that can't afford two units, you can use the same unit in either the DC or the Saturn. Yeah SEGA bought out a official 4 MB cart bit late in the day mind

The need to remove all the screws and Metal plate on the Saturn mother board, when on the DC it was that much simpler. Not a fault of the MODE, just the Saturn's Mother board.
Great product mind and works like a charm. So much better for Dreamcast games.

Just gotta make sure your VMU has batteries now to avoid that BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP... although, I feel kinda nostalgic for it. haha Thankfully I mainly use SEGA's Official 4 MB VMU to completely avoid the issue

Mine came back for the DC and Saturn. Bit of small pain to instal into the Saturn, but well worth it.

I enjoyed both, but I like Dark Saviour that little more and is also really shows off nice 3D graphics with next to no pop up. Very impressive for an early 1996 game. 3D pad is a must for this game too

Shinobi X wasn't that hard. I had issues with the difficulty levels in Bug 1 and II and Three Dirty Dwarves and it a shame as I wanted to play and enjoy all the levels in those games, but they were just too hard. Same goes for Mr Bones but didn't like that game anyway I like Mr Bones in general but the difficulty is all over the place. I get that all the levels are meant to be unique, but it fluctuates between levels that are straightforward to levels that are ridiculous tough. It's also compounded by having to enter the options menu and selecting the level manually every time you die. It's unnecessary and frustrating. Shame really since when that game is good, it's really good. I loved the character and wanted to like Mr Bones. It was just too hard and was just a mish mash of too many different type of games. I admire its scope and quest for originality but it didn't work for me.
