Came across a cheap Winter Heat Jap copy on ebay (4$), and ordered it along J.League Victory Goal 96' (2$). I'm also eyeing Layer Section and Assault Suit Leynos 2 which somehow appeared on a Polish auction site, but then again they're not that much cheaper than eBay average, and I already spent a little too much dosh on Saturn games this month, so I'm trying to refrain from it for now. I got this urge to buy all affordable (sub 50$ in my book) shoot'em ups as fast as possible - Darius II, Darius Gaiden, Layer Section, Salamander Deluxe Pack, Soukyuugurentai, etc. - but getting them all in one go would be a little ridiculous. It also stings a little that a few years ago you could get most of them for as low as 15$ (even the PAL copies of Darius and Galactic Attack) - I remember getting Salamander for that price from the Suruga-ya store in Japan - today they sell it for 50$, just like on eBay. Overpriced or not though, I still enjoy the whole "hunting for games" thing. I guess I missed it a bit during the last few years. Good luck trying ti gather shmups in 2018, prices have gone crazy. $50 seems to the lowest price possible for a shmups game like the one you listed, and the biggest ones often go over $400 (Hyper Duel, Tiger II, Boomerang, Image Fight & X Multiply).
Some sellers on ebay often auctions for them quite often, leaving a chance to get them at decent 2018 prices : yamatoku-classic, dora_ts17, jp-good.
Also, some sites where you can buy in confidence and prices are quite decent :
Oh, and I do have a copy of Duel that I am willing to negotiate in the 300€+ range

Ahah, my lack of knowledge about "Platinum" stopping at 2010 shows how much I care for modern gaming

There's nothing different in the Satakore version. It is just a reprint of the regular game with a slightly different packaging, Platinum version it would be called these days.

I was recently actively seeking a copy of Choro Q Park Satakore. This game is quite rare, as in there are not 5 of them listed permanently on ebay, there actually have been none of them since at least 3 months.
Then suddenly all my contacts in Japan found me a copy of it ! So I now have 3 copies : one with disc+back artwork only, one complete, one complete with spine. Will certainly sell back the 2 less complete copies, if anyone is interested.

Now gathering the full set of 66 Satakore titles. Recently got halfway up there with 34 titles ; kind of rare ones including RockmanX4, Steep Slopes Slider, Langrisser IV.
Still seeking Choro Q Park and Kochira etc... Those one seem to be pretty though.

Alright, so we have quite the same method. Now the wait for Gundam Gaiden III jewel case continues, with even more sites to look after...
But is there any advantage to looking at YJ directly rather than Buyee only ?

May I ask how do you guys use Yahoo Auction ? I cannot read japanese and just discovered buyee, think it works pretty fine if ready to pay some additionnal fees for shipping.
Though I fear I may miss the titles I'm searching : I'm just pasting the japanese name (taken on Satakore, thank you madroms) of the titles I'm searching in the Saturn category.

Well, Shinrei Jusatsuchi Taromaru has arrived at home, complete with cards and stickers. It will find a nice place in my sorted collection : right between Silhouette Mirage and Shin Shinobi Den in the "Action" department.

Best past generation console game, along with Dark Souls.
Cannot wait for S&P III, maybe on the PS5 ?

Well, also consider what types of bullet you are supposed to dodge. The main types are aimed pattern, and fixed patterns. A fixed pattern will always be the same regardless the position of your ship, while aimed is ... aimed at your ship. Usually an aimed pattern may be dodged by moving your ship a little after the pattern has been fired. A fixed pattern is dodged by placing your ship at the correct position, and not moving.
Things get fun when ennemies send both fixed and aimed pattern. For such an instance, the stage 6 boss of Dodonpachi comes to mind : the blue lines are aimed while the pink rain is fixed, you can watch WR (?) holder navigate through this here, no as easy as he makes it seem to be :
Oh wait, that was 1st loop, too easy ! The same pattern in the second loop of the games is better (he bombs it at the end). If you're curious, also watch the fight with the True Last Boss that follows right after :

I've struggled to find a rom of Delisoba online. It would be good if you could provide a dump of it
Huuum, being a total jerk with my PC will not help me with this one. Can detail how I'd proceed, all of this on a Linux machine on which I cannot install anything :
- how do I extract the iso ? - how do I host it to the internet ?
As for the rarity of the game, I hope it is indeed rare, any idea of how many copies were done ?
EDIT : because Tongara's post : less than 20 copies you say ? I'm shocked, I'd have say more in the 500-1000 range.
And no I did not get it from the recent ebay auction, had a Gixen set for it, but Gixen's server went down at the final moments ! In any case, I had put a price lower than what it went for.

Oh well, in all craziness I bought a copy of Delisoba Deluxe. Have no idea what I'm gonna do with this one, is it really super-rare-super-sought-after ?

Oh shame, can you develop the differences between the 2 versions ?
