I think I can remember Tomb Raider came out on Saturn before PlayStation, I started to get a little suspicious when Tomb Raider II wasn't announced for Saturn, by the time Resident Evil 2 came out as an excluive for PlayStation I think I'd had enough of Saturn, the games that came out in 1998 for PlayStation were enough to win me around, I think the original PlayStation had the bes exclusives of any PS console so far...
Metal Gear Solid Final Fantasy series Resident Evil 2/Resident Evil 3 Gran Turismo WipEout 3 Silent Hill ISS Pro series Ridge Racer Type 4 Tekken series Soul Blade Jumping Flash Time Crisis

ALL games were available in the DVD style casing, I've even managed to pick up Virtua Fighter 1 in a plastic box for £5.

EASY!
1. Virtua Fighter 2 2. Sega Rally 3. NiGHTS 4. Panzer Dragoon Saga 5. Resident Evil (would be higher but the PlayStation version was always better)

It's a small repair shop by the bus station in Hanley, it's nextdoor to Jafflong curry house.

I spotted this TV for £300 in a shop in Stoke-on-Trent. As for it being 100Hz, we played House of the Dead 2 on Dreamcast with a lightgun on a 100Hz widescreen TV and had no problems.

Was a well made piece of kit, but felt wrong without having an peddles for it.
Worth getting if you're an obsessive collector though.

As most Koreans don't like to buy Japanese products (Sega, Sony, Toyota...) Sega did a deal with South Korean electronics giants Samsung to bring Saturn to Korea... The Samsung Saturn. Talk about elusive. Ask Google about it. If you don't speak (or type) Korean you'll get only a handful of pages listing company names or talking about unrelated news clips concerning the Korean electronics giant Samsung and the Saturn car company. Or you might get lucky. The occasional forum reference to the system, and in one exceedingly rare instance, a picture. Nothing more. It seems that in 1996, while LG was distributing the 3DO in Korea and Nintendo was distributed by Hyundai, Samsung had no competing game product of their own. While Samsung had previously sold a bootleg Master System (And a MegaDrive, although it is not known if this was an official or bootleg product) the Saturn was apparently licensed from Sega. The hardware seems to be an interesting mix of both new and old model Saturn systems from Sega and licensees JVC + Hitachi. Most notable is the oval-button shell, which is the older style, combined with the smaller and newer mainboard which normally comes with a round-buttoned shell. Some more interesting notes about this system: There is no Japanese language option in the setup screen. No Korean option was added, just the Japanese was removed. There are no other apparent changes to the bootup menus. The reset switch is very short, and intended for use with a small sub-PCB immediately underneath mounted to the top of the shell. There is only 1 of 2 mounting holes for this PCB to attach to, however, and there's no evidence the single mount was ever used. There's also no sign of an extension rod which could reach the actual reset switch on the mainboard, some 5cm away. This system has no reset button! The power switch is mounted on two tall plastic legs on the bottom of the shell. All other oval button models have the power switch mounted directly underneath the button on the top of the shell, and round-button models have a power switch attached to a metal riser platform, not plastic legs. The CD mechanism has two small bundles of wires in addition to the data ribbon, which is unusual: all the newer mainboards had only one bundle, so again there's a weird combination here. The oval button system has always had two LED indicators on the top of the shell: One for power, one for drive-activity. This unit is no different, except it is! The top of the shell has a rectangular indentation for the LED to be inserted (Again on a small sub-PCB that isn't present in this model) and no acrylic riser to focus the mainboard-mounted LED through the panel hole, some 5cm away. This system has no power light! Even though there's a hole for the activity light, there is no activity LED on either a sub-PCB or on the mainboard. There's an Activity label in both English + Korean but there's no LED!!

I currently use my Saturn on a 32" Samsung HDTV with the following ports:
3x HDMI 1x VGA 1x Componant 1x RGB Scart 1x Composite Scart 1x S-Video 1x RF
I'm quite happy with using RGB (cable that came with console) at the moment and I accept the low resolution, however there does seem to be a slight blur around some edges and I'm wondering if there's any way to get a sharper picture.
I use VGA for my Dreamcast which is great quality.
