Well i took the snes apart and just used soapy water and a scourer sponge, and some vanish clothes powder, worked pretty well ^^ those steps are for extreme yellowing, but sometimes it can never get rid of all the yellow

Take the casing off the saturn
Place the plastic item in a container of warm, soapy water and allow it to soak for 10 minutes.
2 Use a nylon scouring brush to clean the plastic. Apply steady, even pressure as you clean.
3 Rinse the item under cool running water to remove the debris you loosened.
4 Pour hydrogen peroxide over the plastic and scrub with the brush. Hydrogen peroxide will help to lighten the yellowed areas significantly. You can also allow the item to soak in the peroxide for up to two hours.
5 Create a mixture of 4 tablespoons of bleach and 4 cups of warm water. Soak the plastic in the solution for half an hour. Rinse the item under cool water thoroughly after removing it.
6 Let the plastic air dry. If the plastic is still yellow, repeat soaking processes.
Pulled that from another website dude, but you may not need to go to those extremes, i used the green side of a scourer to clean my snes with some soapy water

Yeah, VCD is dominant in those countries, as its so cheap, everyone over there has dedicated stand alone vcd players, thing is, the quality is shocking, pirate films used to always be on VCD from the far east till we had some DVD pirates start being made available around 9 years ago lol

Surely you don't need to keep all the saturns at uni, keep the rest at your parents house and just keep the one you want to play at uni, simples

Beetleman, i highly recommend you look at viera plasma's, even if you go for a smaller screen size panasonic still offer plasmas in around the 37" range (mines a 50) picture quality is spot on, make sure you check for a VGA port some plasma's dont have them
