Working my way through alien trilogy, its just classic basic FPS gaming and i love it its soooo much better then the ps1 version and i'm not saying that because i love the saturn, its because the sound effects are better and it just seems to play smoother!

The 45 watt one is fine for continuous use, however i find you can play it save and get a 75 watt one, not sure if maplins are still doing it but in store they were doing 75 watt converters for £11 not so long ago, if i had the money i'd buy a converter rated at a much higher wattage and then run a 4 or 6 gang two prong extension so all of the consoles can be hooked up into 1 converter, i own a few imported consoles but at the moment just end up switching the converter

If the step down converter is getting hot, use one which is rated to higher watts, i don't use any of that 45watt crap

yes i know that i need a euro scart built for jp saturns, but i was wondering if i can use my pal scart direct with the jp saturn or if i need to shell out for another jp compatible scart, i'll see what happens when it arrives, it comes with the crappy composite cable!

Hey all, i decided to dust off the old model 1 and have it as a permanent fixture in my living room, the last time i played it was in january and it was working fine, but to my surprise today it wasn't reading any game discs, I would put them in and it would just come up as the CD player, i tried rebooting the machine with an action replay cart and it would just hang on the loading bit of the AR, i really don't want to have to part with this saturn, could it just be a knackered laser/drive, I can get a model number off the back of it in the morning if that helps, would rather fix it and use it!
