Having checked the box the AR 4-1 cart came in. It's definitely contains 4mb ram expansion.

I have a burned CD-R of SFZ3 and a modified AR 4-in-1 cart which allows any burned CD-R game to be played from any region, but SFZ3 won't work, because it doesn't detect a 4mb expansion cart, which is baffling given that I was told that games requiring the expansion cart should work on such a device. For the record I'm using a PAL console.

It's likely the result of a laser burn at a particular spot. Only solution is to buff the hell out of the disc till it's been resurfaced enough, but do it at your own risk.

If you frequently use the disc swap trick to play burned games, then it's bound to damage your system after a while.

I certainly don't dislike Megamix, but having played it a few months back. It was nowhere near as good as I remembered. The delayed and robotic kicking and punching is annoying. It's clearly a result of using the Fighting Vipers engine.

If PDS was re-released today with updated graphics and English voiced actors. It would probably still be well received and and shift a million+ units.

I wasn't too impressed with GH when I first got it, but it grew on me. I pretty much always play as Nicole. I even have a route tree printed out, which I refer to during each play through to make sure I'm taking an alternate route through the game. The only element that hasn't dated too well is the lag, which can bring gameplay to a crawl in certain spots, but what do you expect from a 32-bit system.

I got a copy of it for £90 in good condition with manual late last year. I must admit it took A LOT of patience to get it for that price. If you're playing import then there is probably 1-2 sections of the game, which you won't be able to get though without referring to a FAQ or visual walk through. If you can get it for <£110 boxed with manual, then I would snap it up. Don't buy this game if you're not a fan of old school Resident Evil games. Personally, after playing through it. I do believe it's better than either RE1+2.

I played through the game a month or so ago, with no prior knowledge of the game. The two parts of the game I needed to seek help with was the Jewel of Open and being able to open chamber in the upside down Clock Tower room. I must admit, taking the whole fanboyism out of the equation the PSX version is better. Despite all the extra's the Saturn version has. It has worse frame rate and graphics, as well as slower loading and not being able to pull out the map like you can with the PSX version is frustrating. However, I think this is more down to it being a lazy port, and would certainly have been a better game had real care and attention been put into it. If anyone was a big fan of the PSX version, then the Saturn version may well interest them.

The data is buried deep. So you'd have to buff it A LOT before you begin to actually to cause harm to your disk, and honestly if I showed you the disk now and got you to compare it to one that was fresh out the box. You'd struggle to tell the difference between the two.

That makes sense, it just seemed strange when other import game simply desync during the cut scenes.

I bought Rayearth a few months back and played through the game on a PAL Saturn. However, the audio kept skipping in the opening and ending FMV sequences. I tried cleaning the disk and it didn't solve the problem. I then went to a shop to get the disk buffed and the same problem still remains. So my question is does that happen on all versions of the game which are played on a PAL Saturn?
