for BVM you will need J-21 RGB Scart cable or adapter cable that will convert the RGB Scart to J-21 RGB Scart before plug into BVM/PVM monitor is I'm not mistaken

definitely. mine came inside the Cross CartDev. Rev. B development setup from one of game development studio - was told Konami but couldn't verify it. - and it was really nice bonus on top of full set of development gears minus Mirage Unit which was too big and too costly even back then.

there really is no need for blue disc since you can patch the image and change it into 1st party or 3rd party before burn.

I used mine to flash Pseudosaturn carts on the stock Saturn consle with CD-R for friends and etc. Want me to scan the case inserts? if you can scan the inserts that will be great as some of mine doesn't have as the disc itself came inside the Cross CartDev setup from one of game development studio.

In The Hunt moves at snails pace even in 60hz. interesting. I booted my Japanese copy on Japanese M1 console and didn't see any issue? One thing I did find odd was the game didn't load when the Sega 1MB RAM Cart was in but fine with the cart removed...

Found a Victor RN-M141 Modem for Saturn. Also a X-Band Saturn Modem with bunch of Sega Media Cards.

it's likely the laser module is busted. Try to replace the laser module and see it works - shouldn't cost ya more than $25 from eBay

Also the Japanese modems are all useless due to them needing to dial into a specific server that of course no longer exists. Because they used the Sega Media Card to access as well. Still there were unofficial Victor RN-M141 Modem Victor trialed bundled with their V-Saturn for monthly ISP subscription. Yet to find whether this modem (it did not have the slot for Sega Media Card coz it came out before Sega launched its Sega Modem) worked same way as US NetLink modem. From time wise it's more than likely it's similar to NetLink modem.

maybe the standard measured against is different from mine. I spent good portion of my youth growing up on PC-8801/PC-9801 series.Compared to some of these calling the red label Saturn titles as mildly titillating would be might over statement. But then it's for mass home console market, not the seedy PC market back then. think I have bulk of Yellow and pretty much all of Red labels and none of them come even near to what I played on PC-9801...

What do you expect? Even the Red label titles were pretty lame compared to PC Engine stuff...

The framemeister is designed for Japan so when used outside one should take care. firstly it uses JP-21 Scart, not European RGB Scart. The pin arrangement is different from memory. Use the conversion cable for PAL Saturn or just get JP-21 Scart cable for Japanese Saturn.
