I'm no graphics whore, but I find it hard to really like F1 Challenge with its graphics. Is Power Drift an acceptable alternative? I know its more cartoony than realistic, but that's not too much of a problem, if similar gameplay-wise. I didn't care for the random bursts of music in Virtua Racing, but I do want myself a nice, classic F1 (or F1-like) racer. Hey mate, suprised you don't like f1 challenge or Virtua Racing. I like both personally. If you're after an F1 racing game there isn't a whole heap to choose from on the Saturn. However, Andretti Racing may well worth your time. I haven't played it since 1999. I don't own it now but I do remember playing it ALOT back in the day and really enjoying it. Probabaly one of EA's better sport titles for the Saturn. Give it a go! I do like F1 Challenge, but it's hard to really like it, or rather, the graphics are a bit off-putting. There is though much to be desired. Virtua Racing is fun, but those 3 second bursts of songs every check point is outright annoying. I'll check out Andretti Racing, thanks! If anyone knows of any other F1 games on other systems worth checking out, I don't have anything super modern, but I do have a PS2.

I didn't like F1 Challenge when I reviewed it but I do now. It's not great by any stretch of the imagination but when you play enough dog shit, it really opens the eyes on how good this was. Andretti Racing was pretty bad. I have been told there was a cheat which allows you to properly calibrate the controls which makes the game far more playable but I haven't found out how to do that exactly.
